Great, 90%of time I am hunter player and I always include flare in my deck like a tech against all secret clases, in other case at least card draw or remove stealth.. glad to see that rogue with stealths have also secrets..
Hoping they don't stop making rogue secrets after this expac. Excited as a miracle rogue player, I think these will be fun to experiment with.
Next expansion: I predict Warrior and Priest secrets too
I am feeling you. I personally also hope they will continue with Rogue secrets but they said that they will 100 % not make any Rogue secrets in the next expansion. So maybe in the next one after that when half of standard rotates! :)
This card is playable. It will ‘not very often’ act as an Ice Block because it will trigger whenever damage is taken but it is a very skill intensive card. And we like skill intensive cards :)
This wouldn't work on mill rogue, because it only procs on enemys turn.
still will be very handy as protection/pseudo-healing in mill - self-milling damage is usually less of a concern than survival to begin with. i think all three secrets could be run in mill.
Ice Block is also a spell that only buys you one turn. I fail to see how that makes this bad. Miracle being able to buy an extra turn is ridiculous. Do you know how many Miracle games come down to a single turn deciding the victor?
Completely useless. There are no attack trigger rogue secrets which means the enemy always attacks with the highest damage minion first.
Sudden Betrayal is triggered when your hero is attacked. And attacking first with the highest damage minion is very bad for your opponent if that secret is active.
Whoever says this is bad never played Miracle Rogue.... The amount of times a single turn would've given me the win is ridiculously high.... It's obvious that this isn't Ice Block,it's probably how the card should've been designed though.... You obviously don't play this when you're at 2 HP against Hunter or at 1 against Mage/Rogue/Druid you play it when a Shaman might have Bloodlust or a Druid Savage Roar or the turn you pop Quest Mage's Ice Block.... I personally voted "Very Good" cause I think this card has the potential to break Miracle Rogue again and if that's the case maybe we'll get a chance to counter the upcoming Priest meta....
This card is bad in some decks and good in others, that's really the basis of it. One of the thing a lot of rogue players feel, is how important any amount of life gain is in Rogue. I remember the days of healbot being ran in control Rogue decks because it needed that 8 hp gain. Sure this card may block 3 or 4 damage... but then you can just smack down Malygos and blow up their face in one turn... HAHAHA MALY'S BACK!!! YESS
Not nearly as good as Ice Block. Its a situational card, this will have to sit in your hand until you feel like you'll need it. So its susceptible to OTK or sudden burst AND to deck that just beat you down little by little. Still though its a knock off Ice Block... a good card.
Bad because buying an extra turn isnt guaranteed at all. Decent chance youll get killed past the secret. Maybe its good to protect you from a well timed bloodlust but I dont see this card working personally. Rogue tends to die fairly quickly against aggro and this really wont change much.
Great against swarm decks to counter stuff like Roar/Bloodlust, let's you stall until you can clear their board. Also busted in Mill Rogue since you can allow yourself to not Vanish on certain turns and instead let this soak up damage.

Yeah, don't want to be mean, but this is how Ice Block really should be designed, as people also said.
Good card, dunno in what kind of rogue would I put this in. Miracle? Some slow, control one? Will we have some comeback tools for the last case?

This is how Ice Block should have been. A card that you have to play at the right time and that can be outplayed by your opponent.
