I rated the card "bad" at first, leaning towards "dust it", and then I noticed that it wasn't actually a battlecry but deathrattle... Holy christ this card is bad... A very good candidate for worst card of the set, even though very few have been released so far. Ridiculously bad card.
You might be mentally ********. 7m = 3/3 + in-deck 8m summon?
Never heard about something called tempo? or drawing the cards in the right order? Never heard of Skelemancer which doesn't see play in constructed for the same reasons? Value isn't everything. You're the ****** here.
Also the quote button exists.
I also thought of Skelemancer, but to be fair, you can't trigger its deathrattle yourself. So there is a difference. However, I agree with you that tempo is a thing. It seems to me that this has the same issue as Hadronox . For 7 mana a 3/3 is just bad. Really bad. If you are under pressure, it likely won't do anything, but if you are not under pressure, you just play the 8-drop 1 turn later. And make a meaningful turn 7 play.

First of all, anyone who wants initial value isn't going to play a deathrattle. Secondly, tempo decks are an archetype as opposed to control / combo / face. Thirdly, I have heard of Skelemancer and play it generously in Arena combo. Fourthly, quote button is more to ridicule a post than a "reply"
I'm taking about constructed here. A maybe "free" 8-Cost minion is not worth wasting 7 mana on a 3/3

"Tempo" is a concept in card games. Roughly, it describes the short term advantage in a players turn. "Tempo decks" are called tempo decks because they try to snowball the tempo advantage every turn into a win. I.e. play a strong minion every turn and overwhelm your opponent. Nearly every deck wins by tempo, even control decks (only attrition/fatigue do not). They just gain their tempo at a much later stage of the game.
A 7 mana 3/3-no-effect-when-played is a terrible tempo play, since it doesn't contribute to control the board (beyond very meager stats for a 7 drop) nor is it threatening or protecting. However, on a later turn you will gain the tempo back if you can summon the right minion. E.g. you can summon 2 8 drops on turn 8, that possibly not only regains the tempo you lost by playing a 3/3 the turn before, but also swings the game in your favour. I personally don't think this card will be good enough, but at least you can trigger the deathrattle yourself (unlike with Skelemancer ). So there is of course a possibility it works out.
as to quoting posts, it makes it much easier for other people to understand what you are talking about. I sometimes do not use it if I just want to make a response to some unimportant issue or just want to thank someone for his help, but if I respond to something onTopic, I usually use the quote feature. Its just better for understanding the respective discussion.

Thank you for the calm detailed response. I totally agree that this card won't be much more popular than Malcheezar for casuals and see any competitive play outside Umbra, Big Barnes, Play Dead Hunter. Outside the playstyles I mentioned, tempo is everything in HS with the very little counter play / tech cards. And yeah, I rarely post in these forums and neglected to see the "Quote" button before replying. I understand from my Arena play that tempo, outside of the netdeck scene, is crucial in a card game with little life points.
Just play the minion you want to recruit instead !
I like Trumps response to this in his last review ( K&C pt2) at 11.50 I believe.
This card actually reminds me of the most broken card in secret decks, Mad Scientist . Obviously this is way worse ( Stats and a bit late to the party).
But still.... In Control Paladin for example you could run rag,Tyrone,Lichking, usually you have the choice.... playing your 8 mana fatty ,hoping they don’t have silence and trade their board into it ( wich is why Lich king is kinda meh if u only get one DK card) . .. or deal with the board ( eq + cons ) but then u don’t develop very much.
This card could allow to do both, of course if Raaza Priest and Jadedruid are still around it might remain irrelevant.
They should change it to "summon an 8 cost or higher minion"
This would work as a 1 off in a Hunter deck with Katherna and Oozelings. This is a good DR to copy with Oozeling, but if you don't have any exact 8 cost minions left it is worthless.
It puts/summons a minion from your deck into the battlefield.
Could be interesting in an altered big priest deck. Also a very nice nerf to obnoxious evolve mechanics

This calls for some hilarious meme decks though

Dead card if drawn late.

I would never dust a common unless it's a duplicate, but this calls for an exception.
4* Stars
Can Be Silenced IF silence is in the Meta also works extremily well with N'Zoth, the Corruptor
