Seems like a really strong effect, and fun to play with, however the minion is really understated and hard to kill. Only see this being playable if you can really easily and efficiently kill it, because the rewards are very strong! I will definitely be playing with this soon! Sadly outclassed by Medivh/Lich King.

What are you talking about? This is an insane priest class legendary! :3
Wondrous Wand- Probably the best one. Drawing and reducing anything of value is such a giant tempo swing. Basically, you get 3 Kuns.
Zarog's Crown- You'll avoid the bad legendaries (there are plenty), and you lose the battlecry. Highest rolls are Tyrion, Ysera, Lich King, King Krush, Lightlord, Al-Akir, Grommash, Soggoth.
I'm gonna make a pretty wild prediction here: Marin will see competitive play almost immediately in Big Druid. Medivh is the card you'd replace in this particular variant, and given that you're Big Druid, you're likely going to have a 8 or more attack minion in play when you play Marin to break the chest immediately. All 4 rewards have potential to provide a nice swing: Golden Kobold re-rolls late-game ramp in your hand and converts them into minions, Tolin's Goblet is risky but can potentially grant you multiple copies of a key big minion, Wonderous Wand is pure tempo and Zarog's Crown is a board refill.
Getting the crazy out of my system early this time around.
BTW this card is part of the set in the official site you can se he has the set watermark, so if you missed the giveaway you might get him in a pack. (well technically anyone who surfs eight now HPWN will get him)
or he might be free like C'thun for the rest of the set rotation.
I think this card won't see any play it's too hard to make it work and the 0/8 might get you killed or facing Ysera stated minion next turn (hint: bonemere)

Big Druid maybe... Just imagine filling the hand with 8x Deathwing, Dragonlord (you don't really need more than 8)
I can already see the Trolden highlight where someone plays this and their opponent plays Kabal Courier into treachery and then uses a swap stats minion to gain the treasure which ends up winning them the game.
It's a SLOOOWWWW card, a 6/6 without taunt (taunt it what makes Lich King usable). You drop it, losing tempo, then have to kill the chest instead of a minion or your opponent, then use the card.
It's a value card at a time when most people focus on winning the game. Ysera all over again. OTOH the cards you get are OPOP.
In the end, it's going to be a fun card. It's not BAD, so decks that can utilize it won't suffer. But only fatigue decks can actually think of really and Dead Man's Warrior doesn't need threats anymore. It just doesn't have room competitively right now. Later, once rotation kills a lot of decks.. maaayyybe.
Right now it's just a fun card that was a great idea to give us early on just to fool with.
Also kinda depends on what the text on the treasure chest is. If whoever breaks it gets the loot, it’s pretty much unplayable. But if it’s like “Deathrattle: Give your opponent loot” then it’s still probably not going to see play, but you wouldn’t be taking a risk by playing it (so long as you aren’t up against an inner fire priest).

RIP 8-mana Forbidden Shaping. If you're super desperate, play it into a doomsayer.
Only playable on 8 if you already have the board, and then the chest soaks 8 damage for your opponent.
Golden Kobold- Iffy. Golden Monkey 1.0 wasn't an instant-win. Heck, it wasn't even an insta-play sometimes.
Tolin's Goblet- (Besides probably milling yourself) Crazy high variance. 8 Swipes? 10 Golakka Crawlers?

Thanks, this is what is missing to kill you with my savage roar.
Try again next time.
6 mana 6/6 maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaybe some control run this guy, 8 manas 6/6 put a minion for the opponent is just unplayable.
I like the draw three cards, set cost to (0). Can be such a tempo swing.
Well it is a nerf to 8 cost slot though... Shaping for 8 and evolve to get 8-drop is slightly worse now...

Marin, you sly fox.
Slow, but some good potential, I will definitely play it a lot.
Inb4 Golden Kobold = Golden monkey ripoff.
I know, it's obvious, but I wanted to say it.
looks like a ton of fun, and depending on how the rest of the expansion pans out this could be something we see on ladder!
Rage quitting: the best way to ensure your opponent knows they beat a giant baby.

One does not simply walk into Mordor,
unless they want to be the best they can be.
Treachery buff

What happens if your opponent breaks it?
