I was wondering were the typical crap we get was, but it seems Blizzard is on point, as usual. Let's hope the rest of the cards are playable in Ramp/Quest Druid. I don't understand how we only have gotten one 5 attack minion so far. Hopefully the Hero doesn't revolve around some Inner Fire style mechanic, because that would be terribly uninspired.
Guys we do not know the tokens yet. There is still hope.
The spiders should be Beast and what if Druid gets some Tundra Rhino type of card.
The spiders may have Stealth.
The spiders may have Charge.
The spiders may have Divine Shield.
The spiders may have text: Your other Beasts have +3 Health making both spiders 1/5 and thus making it impossible to kill both of them without sacing your Big minion.

If the spiders had any keywords or special effects, it would be stated on the spell card itself. I think it is safe to assume they have none of those.
That said, I think people are underestimating this card. It is good in Token Druid, which does not have good tools against big taunts. And if they get cleared by AOE, that means one less AOE to use against your other tokens.
I think it's decent in Arena but it's still pretty risky play if your opponent has Consecration, Volcanic Potion, Primordial Drake, etc. The risk involved with this card in Arena is same as the risk involved in playing Doppelgangster.
And it's definitely good with Yogg. If Yogg clears the whole board or even better clears my opponent Board and even summons a 1/1 or in this case two 1/2 with Poisonous, I would be more than happy. This set has a lot of spells that buff Yogg.
So, poisonous snail is a 2 mana 1/2 poisonous/taunt. Taunt is worth about 0.5 mana-1 mana. What would you pay for a 1/2 poisonous without taunt? 1.5 mana about. So this card is 3 mana value, let's be generous and say 3.5 mana value. Essentially you lose 1.5 mana value to condense two cards into one, but it can't be played until turn 5. Yeah this card would have to spawn THREE to even be considered playable and even then it would only be useful in the arena. Dust this bitch
While there is some benefit to putting two poisonous bodies in play for one card ... I don't think it's enough to justify 5 mana. But maybe in playtesting they found that less than 5 mana and it was just too broken because if the opponent doesn't have a spell/weapon to counter they will lose 2 minions in trade.
I think in evaluating this card it is important to remember that Druid lacks viable hard removal and so this spell could fill that sort of roll as a delayed removal effect. If it were in any other class this would be the worst card ever, but in Druid I think it is merely bad.

This just makes the card that much more egregiously bad. In place of a 5 mana hard removal spell Druid has desperately been wanting for since forever, they get this garbage.

I like how you are talking as if Blizzard has never released trash tier cards where everybody has gone "It can't be that bad" only to then receive confirmation of "Yeah, we did that, its that bad". This is a "fun" card they will say and I am sure it will be fun for your opponent, you will probably make their day.

Well then don't print the card. Simple as that. I don't understand. If you don't want to give Druid viable removal, I can understand it since every class has weaknesses, but don't go printing god awful cards just to be able to say down the line "hey we gave Druid some removal". In fact, I would be impressed with Blizzard if this was maybe 3 mana. It would a slow removal with a drawback for Druid that can be cancelled out by the opponent through small minion or AoE. Druid may have more mana than most classes, and thus can afford to spend something extra for certain effects, but this is so bad, if your opponent can somehow ignore so why would you ever play it?

Maybe those are 2 spiders with deatrattle that are actually 6 spiders ?

the most important question that no one seems to be asking is why a cats cradle has 2 poisonous spiders in it?
Remember spiders have deathrattle guys.
This actually can be an amazing card.

It is maybe a dead Hunted Creeper
Beast synergy?! Kappa

Worst card of the set. There is no other card or spell to make this playable...printed or not printed. Trash filler spell to level the playing field.
Easily one of the worst cards ever printed.

remember that druid has that super version of protect the king.
The idea is to play this against a few tough minions and poison them. Too bad new priest hero power with raza clears this for free every time.
This is bad. I'd rather play gastrobots, they cost two mana and have taunt.
