Well, and obvious and really nasty counter to Jade druid, though and effect like this hurts rogue a crap ton too. In reality this could shut down miracle pretty hard. Which I am fine with. Hopefully Jade Rogue will be decent. I think the new Valeera is amazing for Jade Rogue actually....holy shit this also fucks Evolve....
Never you mind, checked the source. Huh. Well, Control Warrior runs this. As does... hell, any control deck with fatigue in mind. Good tech card!
Edit: Oooooh, and Evolve! This just keeps looking better!
Edit 2: To anyone discussing the stat line, remember that Eater of Secrets is a one-of in most decks nowadays. Also, looking forward to the Trolden clip this screws over the poor sod who plays Explore Un'Goro.
Aside from jades, this could also destroy a turn 6 evolve/doppleganger combo on shaman. It also can destroy some whirlwind combos with warrior. I think every control deck will run one of these, until jades are pushed from the meta, in which case it will be taken away.
Its not complete deadweight outside of jade, and basically kills jade. This might be too hard a counter from a game design perspective, but at the same time, it should make the meta more interesting (since Jade was looking really strong before this with all the new druid cards), so I'm all for it.
The best part is, it doesn't even hurt jade rogue or shaman. Any deck that can't beat jade druid just runs this card. It even trades for auctioneer. So stop bitching.
How does it not hurt shaman? Evolve also goes away when this gets played.. I'd say that hurts.
this might be a one of in control warrior, removes some rogue spells, some priest ones that would not hurt much generally anyway but would be lyra fodder otherwise, jade idol, mark of the lotus, and upgrade. I don't think anything other than warrior would run a one of of this, I mean maybe mage, but if mage is playing a slow deck it does not worry about jade idol, it worries about dying, and this does not help there. Other control classes are using one-cost spells.
I don't like this way of nerfing stuff much, but at least this card is not just a jade counter, and it does not get insane off countering. The problem is it is really just a card that means the enemy is punished for playing the deck they play, not for playing wrong. I hate that.

Just fill your deck with one drops, that is creative deck design, right?
I don't think control needs to worry about Jade druid anymore. Although I have to say is it a little controversial that a single card pretty much deletes an entire deck? This card can also be annoying because there are plenty of other one cost spells that this card hits.
Heck no I am not going to just type all of the 1 cost spells. But some of the cards this guy destroys other than Jade Idol may have some interesting applications.
Another card that destroys cards in opponent's deck... Cancerous trend. Should have just fixed Jade Idol rather than creating cancer to address cancer.

First i thought 1 cost cards in your opponent's deck, but then i read in their hand too. Jade Druid just got decapitated. The hate is real, lol.
Release the Kraken!
Jade Idol. Whirlwind. Inner Fire. Cold blood?
This does so much more: PW:S, Shield Slam, Cold Blood, Evolve, Soulfire, Sinister Strike (if Maly Rogue will be a thing).
Holy shit, this card is nuts. Stuff which gets ruined:
Yeah, this is a great tech card.
Good thing they nerfed execute. Kappa

This is probably the best thing to happen to control decks in a long time. No more auto wins for jade Druid.
Fibonacci will be chuffed!
Missing lethal since June 2015.
FUCK JADE IDOL!!!!!!! I LOVE THIS CARD!!!!! 1 of in every control deck I will ever play.

Wild is collectively happy. We can play control decks again for the low, low cost of 400 dust!

I'm in love.
So this is the first card in the game that discards cards from your opponents hand right?
EDIT: Potentially discards cards from your opponents hand.
Or am I forgetting a previous one?
FINALLY! A Gazlowe counter!
Also, "hurr-durr, design space".
