He might be right. Unless you get more Lifesteal support, even Paladin cannot consistently use it as it is only good when it gets ALL of the first three abilities. Even both Divine Shield and Taunt it is a worse Senjin. Card might see play, but not with the cards revealed so far.

Considering we also have a "if you played an elemental last turn" gain divine shield & taunt 4 mana 3/5, it seems a little underwhelming. Its the fact that its possible to get Lifesteal on top of this is what really makes it interesting. Some classes may find this completely useless to them along the curve, so it isn't going to be playable for them. I could imagine trying to fit it into Warlock somehow.... Need to see more cards to get the brain juices flowing.

To be fair the Tolvir Stoneshaper is mostly so underwhelming because it breaks up your elemental chain not because a 3/5 Divineshield would be so bad on its own.
Holy shit what? a 4 man taunt divineshield lifesteal wind fury.
I don't see how this card isn't just broken. It's the low cost that make this looks so ridiculous strong.
I mean it's literally wickerflame with a 1 mana 1/1 buff on it and has potential to have windfury if you put one of those godawful cards in your decks and don't also draw it.
If you have a Divine shield minion, it is merely a Silvermoon Guardian a card that is not played at all. If you can add taunt, the value increases, since it can't be ignored. With lifesteal it is pretty good and with windfury it is suddenly a high priority target.
But lets be honest, it will only have windfury if you play Al'Akir the Windlord. No other windfury minion is worth it to be put in a deck. Mostly, it will have taunt. And sometimes divine shield and/or lifesteal. To be playable, it needs consistently at least two of these keywords. Let's give it some credit and assume it will always get taunt. How many minions with lifesteal and divine shield are presently played? Not too many.
Therefore, I see presently only 2 classes this can potentially be played in: Shaman and Paladin. In Shaman it is necessary that one special minion (Al'akir) is in the deck when you play Corpsetaker . In Paladin, there are two minions that could justify Corpsetaker to be played ( Tirion Fordring and Wickerflame Burnbristle ) . I don't know how consistent it will be to draw both corpsetakers before Al'akir, Tirion or Wickerflame are pulled out. But I think it will be not conistent enough, since everytime you have to play a plain 3/3 for 4 mana is one time too much. I guess it will be like with Tol'vir Stoneshaper , the reward doesn't balance out the risk.
I see potential for paladin and I might be wrong and it can get consistently taunt and divine shield. Then it might be worth it. But I doubt it and voted bad.
What if you draw Wickerflame first? I mean, it's not in your deck anymore, so no buffs?
Since the effect is a battlecry, that is the only thing that makes sense. If you only needed to play Wickerflame in your deck when the game starts, the keyword "Battlecry" on corpsetaker would be superfluous. No, when the battlecry triggers, corpsetaker will check your deck. Draw him after Tirion or Wickerflame, and he is a 4 mana vanilla 3/3.
just a playable card definitely, this is not meta-defining.
I think you're wrong about the meta-defining aspect. This card is an excellent showstopper against aggro decks as long as you can satisfy taunt, divine shield, lifesteal. Any time a deck like pirate warrior rises up and becomes too strong, this card will see lots of play. The moment the meta slows to a control meta, this card will stop being played.
If a card can keep decks in check, even as tech choice? It definetly should be called meta defining.
Lol its not meta defining, it will be tried in certain pali and shaman decks and that pretty much it. And about pirate warrior tech... Its not even a tech card. For pirate warrior you got Golakka Crawler and Ooze. People are overreacting with this card.
Look closer... it's actually not that good. The card is only (constructed) good the moment it has taunt, lifesteal and divine shield. With windfury on top it's insane but I predict this will easily be rarer than high rolling flappy bird. You can easily screw up the effect by drawing that one windfury or lifesteal card you included and you're stuck with a 4 mana ironfur grizzly without the beast tag...
It will only work if you have enough taunt/divine shield/lifesteal/windfury cards which are good enough to play stand-alone or because of deck synergy. As it stands this might only be the case for Paladin or Shaman but who knows what kind of cards they'll release. Maybe in warlock with taunt and lifesteal because the class is so desperate for healing.
Lastly, very rarely will all the effects be useful combined. Lifesteal is fairly useless early on except against pirate warrior, in which case windfury will be kinda useless since it's more of an agressor effect. Similarly taunt and windfury kinda clash since you want to protect your double-hitting bastard.
Don't put this on par with Wickerflame because Wickerflame is unconditional, which is a very big difference. If you put 2 of these in your deck you could easily have only one of them proc the desired effects and the other one being a dead draw.

im sure that Chillblade Champion Will see play with buff paladin decks Corpsetaker will gain taunt + Divine shield + Lifesteal because u will run a Chillblade Champion + Wickerflame Burnbristle + Tirion Fordring
Drawing one of the three minions is kinda bad. but Wickerflame Burnbristle atleast have the full pack excluding Windfury. So, he is a Backup card for Corpsetaker in case u drew Tirion Fordring or Chillblade Champion
ur ideas guys ?
How many times i played Stoneshaper on curve with divine shield + taunt and it wasnt even that good as a 3/5. why a 3/3 would be broken?
The card is playable as a good tempo minion in mid paladin (cause wickerflame and Tyrion are pretty good anyway) and i think thats all.
Hopefully they will buff ironbeak owl after this card reveal, LOL! Effect is just insane.
As Kibler suggests, this is REALLY GOOD with Handbuff Paladin!
Firebat says this card is no good LUL
but without charge that's kind of a big deal
I will be definitely be trying this with shaman, paladin and maybe even handlock.
Seems too good, honestly. This is going to be like an auto-include in many, many decks.
Seems broken as hell in Pali and Shaman.
Long awaited healing for Rogue... LMAO

I'm just happy this won't gain 'Can't be targeted by spells or hero powers'. Now at least Priest can easily remove it.
