Man, like I said before Blizzard is really serious about killing Pirate Warrior in this expansion. There have never been so many powerful anti aggro cards in one set. Now they are straight up doubling the effects, taunts that ALSO heal, weapon breaks that ALSO heal, minion buffs that ALSO heal, anti pirate crab and the list goes on. There like... no way you will win with face decks in the upcoming meta.
I was dreaming of a taunt + mminion throughout the whole pirate/shaman meta... it feels really unfair that shaman gets this one. Jinyu should already have been neutral or rogue...
Ok I haven't played WoW ever but I'm pretty sure that healing isn't a rogue theme, and I would like to keep it that way in hs
Thats right, healing wave for example is a typical shami-spell. The point is that rogues would need armor or heal to make use of their weapon, because in the end they are a weapon class, their heropower is focused on playing a weapon and they finally received a weapon buff after a long time... but they have to face- tank everything they attack, which is hard, because things like the new weapon buff are totally wasted, if you use it on 1-3 mana minions. And if you use it on big threats, you loose just so many HP that you might loose the game. .
look at the other weapon classes: Druid has a comparable heropower (one dmg via facetank) and has "insane" healing with that feral rage and the new buff that gives attack as armor. Pala has endless heals. Warrior endless armor. Shaman a lot of heals. Only hunter doesn't have, but is attacking face the most time anyways.
so it's more a technical problem. Not a lore problem. Because in WOW, you don't take damage for attacking. So that's a really bad comparison.
Fair enough, except that giving a rogue armor or letting them heal with stuff like Antique Healbot absolutely slaughters the little class diversity hearthstone has. I agree rogue does need some sort of sustaining mechanic in order for it to have a control deck, but that mechanic can't be healing. Perhaps some mechanic that doesn't directly restore you health but manipulates the game in a way such that you end up taking less damage overall?

The dream for opening elemental shaman hand is: fire plume coined out, this card, then this card the next turn to heal face or heal the first hot spring heh... while holding the legend or new "doctor 7" elemental in hand and getting it a nifty cost cut...

Bwah!?!? Good stats, reasonable-to-good mana cost, great effect, taunt, and no overload......are we sure this is shaman?

Holy shit this will snowball games so hard in arena, almost as good as talon priest, which is broken.
I would argue this is quite good in midrange as well, which i imagine would be the dominant elemental archetype.
