Man, this spell is going to invite so many videos from Murloc, Trolden, SparkTV and all those other guys...Words probably could not describe how pissed someone could be if they got caught on the wrong end of this Secret.
Absolutely great secret. Unfortunately, both this and counterspell are hampered by being able to trigger off Coin,
They really really really need to fix Coin to not be a spell. It would make things so much better in many ways (less Flamewaker and Mana Wyrm nonsense too).
yeah, and less playble rougue class... not so nice
What are you talking about? What rogue cards have spell synergy?
How about a secret thats actually not countered by : "The Coin" <---- the B in Bold stands for Bad...
What, would you like an uncounterable secret that says "3 mana: Your opponent's reactions, cards or anything will not interact with this card."?
What would that kind of a card do? The entire point of secrets in Hearthstone unlike instants from other cardgames is that they are dependant on the opponent knowing about them and making guess work trying to figure out what they are. That means there will be counters to the card.
If the notion of "Counters exist = this card is bad" then that would make even the fabled Dr. Boom into a bad card. Because for all of its reign, it still had to deal with Big Game Hunter pre-nerf. Cards having counters does not make them bad; furthermore secrets are built for you to know when to play them and your opponent to figure 'em out.
I want it to have a value around 3 mana.. thats not to much to ask for a 3 mana spell that doesnt affect board is it?!
Also just "having the coin going second" is not exactly playing around it. This card is just countered by a main game mechanic.
So my wish would be change wording to galywix and make it NOT trigger on coin, so enemy can still play around it with a low cost spell but im not just lost on the fact my enemy started second and i decided to put a 3 mana spell into my deck that loses me the game when my enemy plays the coin.

Prep + Auctioneer.
Rogue is so good with spells because Prep that make devs release only overcosted spells for rogue. (Sprint, Tea, Vanish, etc...)
I don't get the point of this card. You basically pay 3 mana for a secret of either the same cost or lower, and you learn what your opponent's secret is. Doesn't seem very good. Maybe someone can explain to me?
Looks like you misread the card. It copies your opponent's next SPELL, not necessarily his next secret.
You could get anything from Convert to Pyroblast with this. (Though in the case of the latter, you're probably dead.)
(And I would almost never play this on curve -- it will have much higher value later in the game.)
Wow I must have misread it at least 3 times...Thank you!

This would fix the Coin Auctioneer interaction too, but that's fine. That's always been something that has been extremely dumb that only one player could get that bonus, and not specific to Rogue either. Of course, Tomb Pillager would be changed to give you a counterfeit coin instead since that's a spell.
I feel like the quest will be "Play 4 secrets" --> all secrets are free for the rest of the game.
That would be some blizzard love for mage. Every other class gets game defining mechanics or serious upside and we get our mediocre secrets at zero cost, the same ability many minions already provide in the class.
This card will be played around like Counterspell, but the problem is that it doesn't actually disrupt your opponent's play. You're investing 3 mana to play a card in the future, while your opponent gets an instant effect off their spell. That's a net loss in tempo for you, so you basically have to hit a 4 mana or higher spell to get value out of this. Add in the fact that many of these high mana spells have no synergy in mage and you have a card that gives your opponent the initiative and the opportunity to dictate the results of the card. The only saving grace is that Arcanologist+Kirin Tor Mage can cheat this card out for free.
This card seems kinda bad. Let me explain my reasoning:
1. There are very few decks that play high-cost, high-value spells. I'll expand on this a bit more below.
2. How often do people play high-value spells into a mage secret? They don't, not with cards like Counterspell and Spellbender. You'll be getting the scraps that people will use to proc your spell: Things like Mortal Coil or Upgrade!. Doesn't a 3-mana 1/3 weapon seem good? Tack an extra mana on there and Blizzard might just think it's not broken enough for Rogue. (*Cough* Poisoned Blade)
3. Out of the popular decks that run high-value spells (pretty much only Renolock), they have no reason to play a high-cost, high value spell first. Even if you get them to play Twisting Nether, what do you do? Your board is clear and you have a 0-cost Twisting Nether. Yeah, it's a free board clear, but your opponent knows that you have it. They're not going to play into it unless they know they can get minions on afterwards.
4. If they do proc the secret with a low cost spell, you're not gaining any net-value, and you might be losing some. If they use something like Maelstrom Portal to portal to proc your secret, you've lost a turn and 1 mana to get a spell.
I haven't played Hearthstone a lot recently, I haven't payed attention to the card reveals, and I haven't considered any other cards in this set. But from my viewpoint right now, this card seems like it would be easy to play around. I think that's its still worse than Mirror Entity because Mirror Entity plays the minion right away. Of course both are bad when the card you copy is a lower cost then each respective secret, but In the current state of Hearthstone I'd prefer a minion in any incarnation rather than what might potentially be a bad spell, especially some of the common ones that Mages wouldn't even be able to use under most circumstances (Deadly Poison, for example).
That being said, the card is insane if you somehow manage to get something good off of it (Flamestrike, Siphon Soul, etc.,).
I'm actively trying to figure out spells you don't want to get from this card and honestly, very few come to mind. At worst, I see you getting a Backstab because that already costs 0 mana and let's be honest, you probably wouldn't be too sad about getting a Backstab. However, imagine getting a 0 cost Kazakus potion. Holy crap that's insane.

You gain the spell for free, it cost 0, is awesome with anthonidas.
This card is not to stop your opponent from playing the spell, is to mess with is turn. You guys are gonna get so reket with this card.
And the best part, you have to play around her no matter what!
It's not free. You paid 3 mana for it. Any player worth a damn will play around Counterspell anyway and more often than not you're going to get an underwhelming spell. Heck if you're going first, you could end up with just a coin.

Unless a Flamewaker type card gets added, the variability might be too much. There are quite a few spells that aren't worth getting.
Too expensive, too easy to play around. Will not see much play after the first week when people realize these things.
too easy to play around, nearly every mage secret counterable by playing a low mana card
Now THAT's a secret.

inb4 2 Mages infinitely juggle this back and forth for a whole game
U can steal a 0 mana Coin. Insane value!
