Spirit Claws should be 1 mana 1/2 gain 1 attack if you have spell damage. I want Blizz to rework the card so it doesn't have a stupid conditional effect like Small-Time Buccaneer and the Dragon cards do
Cheap weapins arent a problem if they arent used to go face with, or to buff a completely broken 1-drop. Noone complained about Fiery War Axe when it was used in control warrior, becaused it was a reactive tool.
The only real problem in the game are the overpowered 1-cost cards that they keep releasing. It all started with Shaman being a poorly designed class from the start, and then they tried to buff it by giving it Tunnel Trogg, a completely overpowered 1-drop. Then they made Spirit Claws and didn't expect it to be used aggressively?
The next expansion better not include any 1-cost cards, because Blizzard just can't balance them.

On the contrary, there have been a lot of complaints for a long time.
Have you heard the term Fiery Win Axe? It was coined (excuse the pun) years ago, for a card that completely negates most of the opponents turn 1 and 2 drops (excluding power-creept cards such as Wyrmrest Agent) if Warrior draws it.
Now lets be clear: do I think it's super OP by itself? I'm not sure. I think it's on the upper limit of power at least, and given that it's a Basic card that almost no aggro, midrange or control Warrior deck would consider going without..... Well that's kind of a problem based on Blizzards stated philosophy for Basic and Classic cards.

I agree that Fiery War Axe Is just at the top of the power level that blizzard should allow. People are only wanting a nerf as much as they are right now because of it's ability to be used so aggressively. It was strong in control warrior, but it wasn't game-breaking. And that isn't to say I think it's game-breaking in pirate warrior either. I think the problem cards ARE those one-drops both the community and Blizzard have targeted: STB and to a lesser extent Patches (and an even lesser extent N'Zoth's First Mate, but this card isn't too bad on it's own - The combination of it with the other extremely strong low-cost cards is where the problem lies).
I think low cost weapons will always be a problem for that reason though - That they have the ability to just go face. The only exception to early game weapons that weren't used to go face is Light's Justice, and that isn't even completely true because Muster for Battle gave you one, which made it a frequent face-basher. I Don't think Light's Justice is used because paladin's capacity for aggressive decks these days is much lower than other classes. That being said, even when Paladin did have that potential back pre-Standard, it still wasn't used. This is likely because it fails to bring the board presence N'Zoth's First Mate and Jade Claws do, or the damage potential Spirit Claws do. So the reason it's not used is frankly because it's fairly bad compared to what other classes get in terms of cards that do the same thing.

Fine. People have complained about it before. It still doesn't mean it's a problem. It's powerlevel is partly justified by the fact that it is a class card from the classic set. The only real issue here is Small-Time Buccaneer.
Will they continue the trend with the upcoming nerfs?
Spirit Claws and Maelstrom Portal need to be on the chopping block.
What about of undertaker?
Maelstrom should have Overload (1)

Title is false.
Undertaker (from Naxxramas Adventure) went from a +1/+1 to a +1/0 nerf.
Not sure if hyped yet.
Get over it, those won't be nerfed. The salt of forum whiners does not constitute evidence of imbalance.
Free to try and find a game, dealing cards for sorrow, cards for pain.
Blizzard will probably give shaman garbage cards that's how blizzard do things..
Also undertaker..
Why is whining about spirit claws a thing now. If any weapon is the problem its jade claws
I'm almost sure most people will be dissapointed with the nerfs, I don't think there will more than 4-5 changes.

Why does Vicious Fledgling exist
backseat game designer doesn't even know the history of hearthstone.
