It really surprised me, how much fun a cardgame could get. But that's not the issue here. The past month or so I've played Hearthstone intensively. I managed to get me so legendary cards (yey!).
I really had fun with these cards, but I don't see the extra utilitie that Gruul can give me. It's my first Legendary that I got, but most of the time a Big Game Hunter or an instant death spell gets it. Should I just get rit of it? I'm trying to dust up for a Ragnaros or a Sylvannas, but that's a differend story. Gruulcan be a fun card if it survives a few turns. But It doesn't fit into any deck. I hate to dischante a legendary...
And does anybody got a non-aggro deck with one or more of these legendary cards? (Aggro just starts to enoy me, probaly the reason why I don't play ranked alot anymore).
I don't really like disenchanting Legendaries. Gruul could be good in a format with less BGH and they are in general rare enough it rarely seems worth it for the cost of one epic.
He can be irritating to remove for opponents who've already spent their BGH/big removal spells. It's all about timing. Generally though, it is easy dealt with and unlike some other legends, if it dies on the turn it's played, it's done nothing.
The game itself forces the legendaries with multiple uses to be placed in the decks, alas, Gruul is not one of them. Most, if not all, legendaries that are commonly used give an effect at the turn they are played at (Ragnaros, Leeroy Jenkins, Ysera, The Black Knight, Grommash etc) and some legendaries that have far too much utility to be passed on as well as their deathrattles (Bloodmage Thalnos, Sylvanas, Edwin in conjuction with Conceal etc).
Gruul is just a beefy legendary, that gets beefier as time goes on, but in most cases, it will be a dead card in your hand if you are relying on it. When I used to play it, I usually play it to bait out a removal so I can drop something that will actually inflict damage.
I would say keep it until you need the dust, make some shenanigans with him, but Gruul being a good legendary card? No.
I don't think I could ever bring myself to disenchant a Legendary, no matter how bad. I guess that's why I still have Tinkmaster Overspark.
But I have to say .. I have literally never seen Gruul played. Not once. Not in playing since closed beta. The only time Gruul has ever been seen on my screen is raiding Gruul's Lair in The Burning Crusade back in 2007.
I imagine you could use Gruul if you had way to stealth him, like Master of Disguise. Maybe, he could be useful as part of some alarm-o-bot shenanigans? I am sure you could find a way to use him. Besides with those legendaries, you gotta catch em all.
I've DE'd a Deathwing and a Nat Pagle because I'm new to the game and wanted the dust for some staple cards for my other decks...things I didn't want to wait for.
I couldn't find a real use for either card, though Deathwing had won a couple of games for me....he's so unexpected. Pagle was essentially a 0 attack, 4 health taunt....dead the next round before he could be useful.
In their place I was able to craft a UTH and a Soulpriest.
I don't miss them. . Gruul seems like a similar situation, though he IS a big threat that MUST be dealt with. BUT, that being said, he's aggro bait. They'll have to use something to get him off the board, and that something can't be used on something else later. But at 8 mana he's too slow to get out to be super useful, especially with no battlecry.

Shade of Nax will do the same but for lower cost soon
I use gruul as a poor man's ragnaros for my priest control and finish games easy, its obviously far worst than rag, but prove me that his better than a 6/7 ogre. And 400 dust is to bit for him.
It really all depends on your goals for Hearthstone. If you're attempting to play multiple decks competitively, then I would recommend you disenchant Gruul and put it towards some of the more staple legendaries for most decks -- namely Cairne Bloodhoof, The Black Knight, Ragnaros the Firelord, Bloodmage Thalnos, etc. As it stands, Gruul's not a worthless legendary card, but it doesn't do anything that other legendaries don't do better.
So, if you're in a rush for competitive decks, yes. Securing a few other legendaries in the place of Gruul would be a wise idea. However, if you're not in a rush, hang on to it.

So far I got:

Thanks guys
Oliver wants more Gruul, not less.
"Please, sir, can I have some more Gruul."
Poetic.

I got gruul, really hard to use, not a good card imo.
keep it until your collection is close to what you want it to be and then dust it to fill the last gaps.
Thanks!
I'll keep the Gruul to Gruul some more later on!

I would dust him, I think if you are starting out you need cards badly. Gruul is used in no top tier decks.
