Easily my favorite card of the new expansion so far. It's just so versatile.
If Rogue had some more survivability tools, this minion could be the centerpiece of some kind of grinder deck. Between Unearthed Raptor, Brann Bronzebeard, andShadowcaster, the value would be unbeatable. The puzzle is how to stay alive long enough for the value to pay off. Probably some sort of combo kill.
but only one card revealed today? cmon blizz, no need to save cards for the big dump on day 21, its still going to be big if have like, 4, 5 cards less.
+ Shadowstep :D If you have C'thun already on the board it's a one turn combo: This on C'thun, shadowstep, repeat, play two c'thuns at once :)
C'Thun's effect is based on it's attack power, if it's a 1/1 token, it's battlecry will do 1 shot. Hardly what I call good. There are much better effects like Reno Jackson, have double (or triple) heal.
You can even combo it with Faceless Manipulator to steal your opponent's card technically. Like they play Tirion against your board, you use Faceless on it, then Shadowcaster, have 2 Tirions. It's Deathrattle will still give you a 5/3 weapon (which would be sweet for Blade Flurry or poisons!).
Why is everyone taking about Malygos combos? I think the most obvious use for this card is smaller minions like SI:7, really any combo minion, and that new 3-cost Rogue legendary
Whether or not it's good (I think it's pretty good)I'll praise this card all day over some of the boring epics and legendaries we've seen. The mechanic itself is cool, and somewhat unique. It's the kind of card I don't mind buying packs for.
Not sure if Rogue can afford to be this slow with Healbot and Belcher rotating out.
Except most of the fast tempo cards (shredder, shielded minibot, haunted creeper, etc.) are also rotating out, and the ones that aren't (leper gnome, knife juggler, etc.) are high on the list of cards Blizzard's said are likely getting nerfed. So unless some really great aggro cards they haven't shown off yet are being introduced, yeah, rogue probably can afford to be this slow.
Not that this necessarily even IS that slow when you could cast it on curve on an SI:7 Agent, or a tomb pillager, or any 4 or less costing card with a strong battlecry or deathrattle effect and still get solid value out of it.
Thaurissan on brann and two of these = 10 mana: brann -> 2 1/1 branns & 2 1/1 shadowcasters to (brann+)shadowcaster a battlecry/good effect such as nef or ysera
Let's consider some of the best outcomes for this card in Standard and wild, leaving hearthstone christmas land out of it. Also, consider that you can copy minions that have been hit by silence/Aldor Peacekeeper/stopped by taunts, which usually keeps them on the board longer than they normally would since they are no longer a threat.
SI:7 Agent: 6 mana 5/5 over two bodies, Combo deal two damage. I'm not sure if this is a better stormpike commando or a worse fire elemental, but the fact that you get to choose when to use the two damage helps significantly.
Azure Drake/Thalnos: 6 mana 5/5 over two bodies, Spell Damage +1 draw a card. Worse Azure drake, but spell damage is better when it's dirt cheap and powers your spells the turn you play it. So it's closer to Thalnos.
Nerubian Egg: 6 mana 9/9 over three bodies. Your nerubian egg doesn't need to be buffed.
Sylvanas: 6 mana 5/5 deathrattle take a random enemy minion (woah, basically the same). Considering this card usually sits on the board silenced, this should come up more than Malygos/Emperor.
Antique Healbot: This basically becomes Reno over two turns if you play both on Turn 10 (or all three with coin), when you most need the healing.
Tomb Pillager: 6 mana 5/5 deathrattle get a coin. Probably the worst outcome, and it still helps you go off with Gadgetzan/Malygos.
I could keep going, but I want to point out that none of these outcomes are far-fetched or win more, instead these are good role players that you are happy to play in your deck regardless. The card itself may be worse than any of these options (with the exception of sylvanas), but the fact that it works with any of them should make it at least a consideration in deck building.

need take time to make new pic and signature using the new cards.
hell even copying a coldnight oracle for extra mill!
easily my favorite card released thus far, oh the shenanigans this will bring!
The dream
Emp for 3 turns
Brann for 1, coldlight x2, shadow caster x2 on cold light then coldlight x4 to draw 24 cards.
I like that she gives the minion in hand. Battlecries can be casted as well that way.

Also, this confirms that Rogue will never ever be getting a good cheap drop ever again, if past trends mean anything. Thanks Blizzard.
