30/30 basically just oneshots your opponent. I think the point is that it's supposed to be a very lategame finisher, or basically a budget control card.
I mean, you usually aren't able to build a proper control deck without a bunch of legendaries. This and stuff like kraken are basically substitute legendaries so if you're new you don't have to go aggro decks only.
Also, Conceal on rogue and we might see something like control rogue that aims to just bait out removal and stuff and then one shot you
Looking forward to the Trolden video where two Priests play tug of war over The Ancient One with Mind Control and Entomb for like half a dozen turns in a row.
Considering the 'baseline' for a 7 drop is 7/7; 9/9/9 with a potentially game-winning effect is cool.
Note you could cheat it out as well. Alarm-o-Bot is one way and I'm sure there'll be Trolden highlights of that into a Faceless; but you can get your 2nd one without drawing it or spending 9 mana with Faceless Manipulator.
hmmm, if you get one of these to stick, you could combo it with Faceless Manipulator or Herald Volazj and still have mana to protect your incoming 30/30... Probably not going to be super easy to pull off, but super cool card.
HAHAHAH YES! Even if it may not be good it's cards like this that I want to see, crazy cards that you form your deck around. Also the effect is probably not that hard to accomplish as the body is so strong. Blood + Conceal, and then a Blood next turn and you have your 30/30. Or Naga Sea Witch and then playing two of these the turn after (if you have 10 mana). Interesting card.
Wow cool but a WAY to slow... imagine when you play other 9 drops that habe better effects. I don't see the reason to play this cards for a 30/30 that doesn't have charge or something! Can be countered easily...

"... but not less than (1)" is needed now more than ever!
Super fun card but also not competitive. If you have 2 9/9 creatures you don't want to sacrifice one to create a 30/30 you'd prefer just having 2 9/9's. Especially if they aren't able to get value before the transformation trigger. It might be decent over the course of two turns where one of the 9/9's gets to attack before going away but then the combo becomes much harder to pull off.
I still love the card and I will certainly make a deck out of it. I'm just certain it won't be good.

I tried having fun once. It was awful.
Y'shaarj, Herald and faceless manipulator all have great synergy with this and can cheat it out easy.
Time is money, friend.
yup
This turn 9, hope it lives. Turn 10 Faceless Manipulator. It's plausible. Fun idea.
I would say hello evoulution master on 8 drops but
A. Why?
B. Majordomo.
Useless as can be.
Oh and i would prefer two 9-9 then a 30-30 dude.

Meh, I have more chances to get The Ancient One from Master of Evolution.

Aviana +Innervate + 2x Blood of The Ancient One or 1 Faceless Manipulator
Blood of The Ancient One + Conceal and next turn Blood of The Ancient One or faceless?
:D
