I didn't even know mages put spells in their deck until I read this card. I just thought they generate the exact spell they need at the exact instant it actually matters (f you Primordial Glyph)

The hearthstone team has stated on numerous occasions how they feel the ladder experience is too grindy and repetitive and are currently working on a whole new ladder system.

really? did they already said how the new ladder system would look like
They haven't given many specifics but there have been a lot of blue posts discussing the shortfalls of the current system as well as taking about developing a new ladder system as well as a possible tournament mode.

It's at the power level 10 cost cards should be. If you're spending a whole turn on one card it needs to make a big impact

I can already tell this hero power shines with low cost cards, specifically Stonetusk Boar. It will be the mvp of this new hero power (if it's actually viable). Adding +1/+1 and charge to any beast for +1 mana makes any beast pretty much OP

Not strong enough for a real legend push unless you are a seasoned player. It's a good deck it's just not optimal in this meta. I can see it getting better as more cards are released.

posted a message on We've got Standard and Wild - What Other Modes Might Be Enjoyable?

The problem with adding new game modes like what you mentioned is that they will always be overshadowed by standard because it's the default game mode for the game and tournaments similar to wild. No matter how hard they push wild it will always be in the shadow of standard. They need to add new competitive play modes that don't necessarily revolve around constructed play. Arena is a great example (besides the fact that you need to pay for it). Tavern brawl is fun but too casual and has no replay value except for the free pack. Tournament modes would be cool, a draft mode would be cool, stuff like that

posted a message on Palladin vs. Rogue Matchup - Surprising Results

My win rate against rogues from rank 5 to legend playing midrange murloc pally was over 75%. If you get a good curve early it's an easy game. miracle rogue is a little harder but very winnable and quest rogue is a very good match up since they just want to complete the quest and don't run much removal

posted a message on What do you think the meta is going to look like in a few weeks?

Being only a few days into Un'goro it's still hard to say exactly which decks will be played in the meta, but it's starting to become more clear. I've been playing a more aggressive midrange hunter decks and it seems to be performing well from ranks 10-5. Just from playing standard the past few days it's apparent that quest rogue and mage are strong competitive deck.   Taunt quest warrior is another powerful deck that I've encountered and had a lot of trouble dealing with as midrange hunter. I've also seen a decent amount of discard zoo with no quest. It seems powerful as well, but not as prevalent as some other decks. Elemental and murloc quest shaman are being experimented with as well but their actual power level is hard to determine since people are still refining the decks, but as of right now murloc shaman seems to be the more powerful of the two. I know everyone is playing the new decks but I also think there is an undiscovered jade deck floating around somewhere that hasn't been discovered since everyone is playing the new cards. Also, as many people predicted, pirate warrior is still around having no new cards and still being a powerful deck.

I know everyone is butthurt over the mage and rogue quests, but I don't think they are any more powerful than other t1 decks have been. I think people are overreacting and as the meta settles people will develop counters to those decks. I personally haven't had a problem with quest rogue with midrange hunter, and a simple tech of a flare against quest mage makes it a hard match up to lose, similar to the old freeze mage.

This is all just my experience playing the last couple days. Just wanted to hear your predictions of the meta.

posted a message on Which classes have competitive non-Quest decks

Aggressive midrange hunters is working great for me right now ranks 10-5. The only tough matchup I've experienced is taunt warrior which could be tech'd against with a deadly shot or hunter's mark which i'm experimenting with right now. Against rogue it's really easy to set up a board and slam them down while they are trying to complete the quest, and even if they do complete it it's such a big tempo loss spending 5 mana for something that may not give you an immediate effect.

posted a message on Why Radiant Elemental Might Make Shadow Visions Playable

I think it will be playable regardless of radiant elemental. It's basically a third copy of a spell in your deck for +2 mana, and it's when you need it. Sure you may not get the option you need all the time but if you are looking for a spell odds are you haven't drawn into it yet which would increase your odds of getting it off shadow visions. I think it's good on its own

This is probably alot better then it seems just because Kindly Grandmother exists and can be played on curve. Huhuran is too high cost and doesnt curve out well since infested wolf if pretty underwhelming

Do my eyes deceive me? Blizzard managed to make a slow yet power 1 drop that won't single handedly shape the entire metagame?
