I drew sunwalker, opponent drew black knight, I draw mech-bear-cat, opponent drew bgh. So now I can look forward to 10 rounds of being perfectly countered, oh and chickens.
Weeeh.
Horrible brawl, the snowballing effects are absolutely ridiculous.
Not the best but man what a bunch of crybabies. The split second I either A) get an absolutely horrible first-turn discover or B) See a ridiculous discover from opponent, I concede. Not healthy for the game but lets you take the emotion out of the luck. All I want is a win result for questing.
Wow, I love the salt. Blizzard lets the game get a little stale, everyone is asking for new expansions or play modes or something new. Blizzard introduces Tavern Brawl to give something different almost every week, and we get a whole new batch of salt because people are pissed that they don't understand the mechanic or it is too heavy on RNG or we have seen it before or... the list goes on and on.
IF YOU DON'T LIKE THE BRAWL, YOU DON'T HAVE TO PLAY IT!
I'm sorry that you are being "forced" to play a game that you don't enjoy. Oh wait, I'm not really that sorry.

I wasn't sure about this brawl at first, when I lost to early Fjola Lightbanes a few times in a row, but I've come around on it since then. It's actually pretty fun, and the games are slowly speeding up as everyone gets used to the mechanism (or maybe because I'm being matched to more experienced players with 5+ wins now). I had lots of trouble winning last week, for some reason, but I'm doing fairly well this week. Probably explains why I like it. I agree, though, that if you fall behind on the board by more than 3 non-chicken minions, you're probably done, because board clears are few and far between.
Edit - One of the things I like about it, aside from the general pick-as-you-go concept, is that under-utilized cards are turning out to be pretty useful here. Illidan, for example, is a powerhouse here.
I knew this Brawl was going to be a massive failue as soon as I saw the ingame prompts, if it isn't intuitive design and you have to stop and explain what is going on then you have failed from the start.
i enjoyed it a lot, after banana fiasco, hero power astral druid fiasco, Secret paladin on perfect curve fiasco, Handlock gets free Minion fiasco , everyone is playing zoo with every minion being a piloted shredder fiasco AND Flamewaker steals god's throne fiasco from last week i've come to appreciate the rng brawls a lot more than the everyone plays the tier 0 deck of the week that's unmatched by every single other fun concept or idea brawls.
I got to play Astral Communion on turn 3 in the game I finally won, and that card is absolutely nuts in this brawl! Discard some coins and chicken, get a full new hand, and choose the biggest beast every turn to add to your deck...
Not great, but not terrible. Will probably not replay. There is plenty of skill involved though!
The short lived (thank goodness) "Decks Assemble" was without a doubt the worst taver brawl we have had to endure sinc the brawls started.
It had a zero fun factor, zero skill factor and was solely reliant on whether or not the RNG took pity on the player for having to endure this really terrible experience.
I hope we never to experience it again.
What you're saying it's the worst one YOU had to endure. I guess I understand, it might be beyond the capabilities of some people to choose the best card out of three for the given situation. I would suggest you don't try arena, you'll hate it.
LOL. I'm an infinite arena player and I have so much dust that I probably could craft all the best cards from the next expansion because of it, while keeping all the excess gold I earn each run for whatever thing I want. And guess what? This tabern brawl sucks man! You can't do nothing if your opponent gets a god openening hand (with the Darkbane/Lightbane Sisters for example) and you get only crap, wich happens more often than it should. Also, I got Illidan Stormrage very early, and filled my board with 2/1 minions in a blink with all those cheap spells while my opponent couldn't find an answer to it and was totally rekt. Skill? LMAO. No man, this is not skill, it is the most unbalanced RNG shit I have ever seen on Hearthstone!
Hate to say it but this is the worst BS brawl I've ever played
YAWN BRAWL
Nah, total RnG-bullshit-fest brawls were worst. No contest even.
still better than the mage cancer from last week.

*edit* He lost connection, happiness is real.

I'm enjoying the brawl. It's kind of like slow form Arena. I'm using it to complete a ton of quests.
There have been better brawls and worse ones. I put this one somewhere in the middle.

I personally find it too slow for my liking. I gave up several times as once I was behind, there was almost no coming back.

This has got to be some of the most retarded shit ive ever seen.
I actually think this tavern brawl was rather fun and interesting.
That's fine for a website, but for people who like to try new things, and, you know, think, sometimes you actually need to read a direction *gasp*
