Seriously though, who designed that Hunter deck? It's so poorly made, I think a basic hunter deck is better than that one. It's so unfair it has no 1 cost minions, but then it has that Elephant 3/2 that is really bad, other than that you are just sitting there praying your mage opponent got a crappy hand so you can stall until turn 5 and a up to actually start dropping good minions, if not, well, Well played because the mage is gonna have a bunch of buffed up inspired guys by turn 5.
Don't even get me started on that Legendary 4/2 Acidmaw... Wow, just wow.
I'm 5-4 with mage, 7-4 with hunter. Feels pretty even to me. I honestly think the people struggling with hunter must be mulliganing or playing it poorly.

Pfft. I've won about 50% of the games I've been hunter. People just like whinging.
Acidmaw is a bad card. Clearly. However, a turn 10 combo with Unleash won me a game. Was pretty insane to see him wipe 20+ mana worth of minions off the board in one turn.
I personally do think Mage is far easier to play, as such it wins more often. It has some nice low cost minions which allow the player to push their opponent on early and again tempo, possibly winning even before turn 10; but even if they do reach late game, don't worry because they've got they're Frost Giants to back them up, and let's no forget Rhonin. So all in all, the Mage deck is better and easier to play as it gives the player more to do throughout the entire game.
Playing as a Hunter I often felt like it was difficult to keep up with the Mage. The only ones I won were matches where I got very early on spells with Lock and Load for a nice hand refill, that or my opponent got the absolutely worst hand possible.
I played 6 brawls yesterday. Had 5 games as hunter and 1 as mage (opponent instantly left). And I had 5 wins. Why do you think the mage deck is way better than the hunter one?
I'm 6 out of 8 with Mage and 4 out of 6 with Hunter. Hunter has a slight downside of having more lategame minions which can really screw up your curve in my opinion. I feel like it's 45/55 in favor of the Mage, so it could be worse.
Depends on your playstyle maybe? I perform better and is more comfortable with playing Aleria's joust deck. Lock and Load is so much fun! I like the Hunter deck better because it showcases the potential of its class cards more than the mage deck..
The Mage deck does feel more consistent when it gets on the board first with a decent curve (doesn't every deck), but I have played vs the Hunter where they won all their Jousts and the Mage had a lot of awkward turns trying to force Inspire to work.
I think the hunter deck is more consistent than the mage one actually. The mage is super dependent on using your hero power a lot and using it effectively where the hunter deck just requires knowing how to trade and use mana efficiently.
I've won every game I've played in this brawl and I've just about evenly split time between the two decks.
The Hunter deck really isn't nearly as bad as people are saying. If you win your Jousts and get a good Lock and Load you're probably going to win.Lock and Load would be super good in a deck that didn't suck like this one.
Thanks for the laugh mate. In Control vs Control, it's almost entirely luck and even against aggro, there's a chance you reveal your Zombie Chow and he reveals his Knife Juggler. So saying it has nothing to do with luck is an overstatement.
It's incredibly luck based. Of course you get favored against aggro but in control vs control like in the brawl its a matter of luck.
Control vs control, maybe. But if your deck is build around high cost minions, it has nothing to do with luck. If you play high cost minions in your deck it's safe to say you might win most of the jousts against control decks.

No way dude.
This isn't your regular aggro constructed. Whoever gets the board (and most of the jousts) wins.

It is not a facehunter deck, so you actually need to do some trades :O
I know it sound weird but by some kind of miracle, blizzard have made a non-aggro hunter deck!?

I think that Acidmaw and several other beasts are op only if you pull them out of a Ram Wrangler cause its too much mana to spend for facehunters :p
Just hanging around, talking in my Morgan Freeman voice :D

You have to learn the rules of the game. And then you have to play better than anyone else.

Whoever gets the luckiest wins.
