Shaman dominated and created a meta where face hunters thrived. Now that loads of players are running face hunter, Galakrond warrior and quest priest are becoming the most dominant.
im not the biggest fan of this expansion's meta so far, but one thing I do think is great is how it has shifted so quickly already.
the matchmaking only takes what's available, so blame shaman for remaining dominant enough to encourage face hunter to even show up.
oh and run Galakrond warrior if you can. It brutalizes hunters

Well I´m playing lowranked and I have to say that the most of my opponents had played facehunter up till now. There are many atm, but I don´t think thats a bad thing. I played about against 20 hunters the last two days and lost just one game cause of bad draw. You often need just two taunts and a little bit heal at the right moment and they will get out of steam very fast. I´m just wondering why there are not more Questhunters. It works pretty good imo. But I for sure don´t know how it works in higher ranks. Just saw a stream from Dekkster where it performs very well, too. He was legend, so I guess all in all it could do very well on ladder.
If you're having that much trouble with face hunter, there're heal-heavy decks (priest decks in particular) that eat it alive most of the time.
Right now the only cards I'm having trouble with are Faceless Corruptor and Dragon's Pack.
There're certain decks which just can't even try to deal with Galakrond Shaman or Face Hunter, which is unfortunate. But I think even then there are ways to build those decks properly.
Excuse me when we talk about Hunterstone are we referring to Face Hunter here? Because i think Highlander Hunter is far more decent and interesting as a deck.

I hit legend for the first time a few days ago, and I have to say, based on my experience at dumpster legend ranks, the majority of my opponents have been Rogue.
In rack, I would say Rogue would easily be the most common class I played against from Rank 5 through to where I am now.
I would imagine that Hunter would be much more common at higher ranks though since it's a cheap deck and therefore more accessible to a lot of players.

I think pretty much all the most trusted data shows rogue consisting of at least 1/4 of ladder as a whole. Legend supposedly has over 35% rogues (as reported by Vicious Syndicate in their last report, #151). Hunter is doing well, but honestly rogue is better, just requires more flexibility since it's biggest source of power is the value it generates through things like 0-cost cards (Galakrond and Wand off of Toggwaggle) and stolen class cards. I faced a rogue the other day that used 4 other classes to beat me, because all their own base cards had nothing I couldn't handle.

What brand? Maybelline?
Highlander Paladin and Highlander Rogue can shut hunters down plenty of times. Note I said "plenty".
If you draw like shit/play like shit, then yes you're kinda screwed against a good Hunter deck, specially Face Hunter.
