As stupid as it sounds, midrange can only exist is the deck is really good. Even paladin, pre-nerf, had answers to everything and high tempo. Even shaman consistently builds a board from turn one with constant threats to buff it and also threatens high curve high tempo elemental plays. They don't need to commit to dumping everything quickly and finishing quickly like aggro, because they can continue to curve out in the midgame. A good midrange deck has enough tempo and pressure to beat aggro, combo, and control, without running out of steam too quickly.
Control decks can tech against combo. Warrior can, after the next patch, effectively tech against shudderwock. Warrior can also outarmor druid's malygos burst. BSM is screwed against shudderwock, but can also survive malygos druid is played smartly. Control warlock needs to use tempo through demons or use Rin to beat combo.
This is also win win card in reno/controllock....you draw 3 cards that can save your life...basically it is last stand card..something like yog'saron..you play it when you know you are about to die and could save your life..
Dude, It isn't that intense. Warlock got a great control card to change your opponents combo piece into a demon. Also druid cannot in any scenario have there full maly combo by turn 8 LUL. Also that warlock legendary spell is nice but not absolutely broken especially as we see more control tools coming to warrior and shaman. I don't think zoo will be nearly as strong as it was this past expansion. Also don't freak out now, give it time and hope that it is a healthy meta like the one now(except shudder). ;)
No one can predict what the meta will be untill one month after the release, so don't assune that you can say for sure what will be dead and what will dominate the ladder. Just wait and see.

For what profit is it to a man, if he gains the world and loses his own soul?
Zoo received a huge card today and almost sure the deck never will run out of steam.
Play vs druid is like put a clock in your hero "You have, in your best case scenario, 8 turns to win this game".
Shudderwock decks will have Volcano in 5 for sure every game and a key spell duplicated.
With this scenario in mind will have any room for midrange/control decks?
CW always decimate aggro/zoo deck, even with the tools they have now. So I actually think zoo got a buff is a very good sign for Control decks. Aggressive decks keep greedy COMBO decks in check.
Also druid cannot in any scenario have there full maly combo by turn 8 LUL...
Yes, he can.
Have enough redundancy for ramp/draw/tutor/armor/cheat mana for that.
Unless an extremely good neutral tech will be reveal the only hope vs druid is aggro kill before turn 7 or 8 or warlock tech be able to destroy a key combo card.

As of now, no. Only control deck that has an answer to combo decks right now it's Warlock and are generally bad tech cards.
Midrange needs some really good synergies to work out. I'd say that the most successful "midrangey" deck of the year has been even warlock, you need a lot of sticky big threats to survive this meta or other decks will eat you alive :D
Control counters Aggro. I don't think that soularium will push Zoo enough to actually be good against Controling decks, just because on turns when Soulariumis good value Control can just AOE whatever you get from it and has probably healed out of range of any burst you can get. Though the only good control deck might be Druid...
I think team 5 it not that stupid as some people suggest. If druid is getting all this combo tools it's because it will probably have some sort of natural predator. Because of that, most logic thing to me it's that druid will struggle against big midrange magnetic decks (not so much against aggro because spreading plague)

Well I don't know... A Year ago they had to nerf Innervate and Spreading Plague, because druid was Tier 0 and had best Aggro, best control and best combo deck at the same time!

Agree. Sure, some OP decks take us all by surprise, but just about anyone could predict Plague and UI were going to be a problem.

Why?
No is answer for topic question or the last setence of my post?

No, it is a combo one, like Exodia mage.
A control deck don't have infinite damage and don't lose the game if one card is put out of your hand with Dirty Rat.

Ok, I agree with that, maybe warlock will be the last survivor control deck...
Prediction lika that are always fun.

Top deck is cheat
Shudderwork is combo if there ever was one in HS

Given that even the best players are unable to make Meta/Deck/Card predictions accurately, why do less experienced players even try?
Because it is hard to resist temptation.

1- Because we live in a free country and as long don't do anything ilegal we can do everything we want.
2- It is fun, don't matter if was precisely correct or fails miserably in that prediction.
3- This is the right place to discuss this kind of thing.

We just need a hate card with battlecry "Card draw and Recruit are disabled next turn" ;)
