I personally do, but the only issue with the meta being more diverse is making reads would be way harder, but the game would be a hell of a lot more fun. What to you believe?
The past few days I've met a good spread of even shaman, even warlock, odd paladin, quest priest, taunt druid, big spell mage, token druid, control warlock, odd rogue, murloc paladin, quest warrior, spell hunter.
I don't know if I can handle much more diversity right now haha.

I mean, the answer is always "yes". But this is the most diverse meta I can remember and I've been playing since TGT. I'm genuinely struggling with my mulligans these days because each class has so many different archetypes represented.
I don't know, i think is a pretty decent meta. Having fun at rank 5 with quest priest and burgle rogue. Quest Warrior is played again, Cubelock feels much more doable and even-Lock is doing fine; shaman has even shaman and have shudderwock combo; spiteful, quest and combo priest; odd rogue and a bit of miracle; tempo mage and control mage; spell hunter and Recruiter hunter; Spiteful, Hadronox and Devilsaur Druid; Odd paladin and murloc paladin. I think is the most different i have ever witness
All 9 classes either have a tier 2 or 1 decks that is pretty damn good in terms of hearthstone i think this might be the best meta we have had in a long time.
Mage: Big Spell, Aggro/Tempo or whatever you want to call it
Paladin: Odd, Murloc
Priest: Control, Quest
Rogue: Odd, Tempo, Quest, Miracle
Shaman: Even, Shudderwock
Warlock: Control, Even, Zoo
Warrior; Quest, Odd, Rush
As you can see, every class has at least 2 viable decks for laddering, and if you don't call that diverse, I don't know what is. That's not even mentioning the other decks in Tiers 3 and 4 that can be used.
You never see more than one or two decks per class on the ladder. This isn't because there aren't more viable decks; it's simply that people just netdeck the same couple decks over and over. If people actually played all of the possible decks, we'd have a reasonably diverse meta. But two decks per class is NOT a diverse meta. Hearthstone, at least since Naxxramas when I started, has NEVER had a diverse meta, and it couldn't have before that, since it was only classic.

This is absolutely correct. Simply naming archtypes, and then insinuating because all these "unique" decks exist the meta must be diverse is weak reasoning, and part of the problem why constructive discussions of meta diversity descend to non fact quibbling.

If you thought you knew what you think I know, then you'd know I knew you knew I know.
There is a very large diversity on the ladder right now that are viable decks. There are a few that are more popular, but nothing game breakingly so. I don't think there's any tuning that needs done for standard right now. If you see too much of one deck, blame the community. Blizzard can't make people play more diverse decks.
So the solution for what you are asking, make your own deck. That's what I do and I normally hit rank 7-9 every month with a few games a day. I don't have time to sit down and ladder hard to legend, but I think I could easily achieve it with my home brew decks if I had the time. I wouldn't have made that statement pre-nerfs.
*edit: On one note, there can be 'too diverse'. If there are a ton of decks hovering around 50-52% win rates and that's how it caps out then it's just luck of the draw.
I might get rocks trown at me for stating this, but I think Team 5 is doing a good job with nerfs. This way, we have 2 metas per expansion. To me, metas stay still a bit too long for me not to get deeply tired of it, but I hope someday they will replace some classic cards by rotated ones further into the expansion (let's say in July), so we would get three different metas per set
I think there is a good diversity of decks currently with the meta, the quality of those decks are variable as well hence the tier listings. My concern is the deck archetype diversity+quality. Aggro, tempo, control - rock, scissors, paper. However you want to look at it. Make each archetype viable for all classes. This would lend to at least 3 viable decks for each class each expac, and it would help to alleviate the overpowered deck(s) from populating the ladders. Checks and balances via the archetypes.
Just my thoughts, though I don't see many agreeing with me.

I completely agree. I just wish the pre-nerf meta had been a little bit more interesting this time around. Early Witchwood was basically just post-nerf K&C.
There is a very large diversity on the ladder right now that are viable decks. (I agree that there are many POSSIBLE viable decks. However, we see only a fraction of these on the ladder) There are a few that are more popular, but nothing game breakingly so. I don't think there's any tuning that needs done for standard right now. (I don't think we have any blatantly overpowered decks right now, other than that aggro's always been too strong) If you see too much of one deck, blame the community. Blizzard can't make people play more diverse decks. (This is an extremely good point. Blizzard cannot make people play more diverse decks. They *could* create the types of cards that would increase diversity, though. But, by and large, it is the community itself that is the problem.)
So the solution for what you are asking, make your own deck. (Yes; unfortunately, one person cannot change the tide of the community) That's what I do and I normally hit rank 7-9 every month with a few games a day. I don't have time to sit down and ladder hard to legend, but I think I could easily achieve it with my home brew decks if I had the time. I wouldn't have made that statement pre-nerfs.
*edit: On one note, there can be 'too diverse'. (Disagree; ideally, I'd be able to play 20 games on the ladder and see 18-20 different decks) If there are a ton of decks hovering around 50-52% win rates and that's how it caps out then it's just luck of the draw. (If Hearthstone were better designed, we'd see much more varied winrates. The top players in the world are winning roughly 60-odd percent of their games. This means that they are LOSING 20-30% of their games because of RNG. This is not a good thing)
I always want a more diverse meta because I think the game is at it's best when you don't know what your opponent is playing and it keeps you guessing. But the meta right now is pretty good I'm not complaining

The meta is incredibly diverse right now.
At time of writing, HSReplay says there are 19 different archetypes that have a 50+% winrate.
I don't see how you could get more diverse than that.
Seconded. All 9 classes have at least 1 deck that's tier 2 or higher, with a few of them having 2 or more archetypes, all north of 50% win rate.
This is one of the most diverse metas on record.
A never-Legend Dad who keeps making rank 2 or 1, but then sliding.

Hit rank 15 with a homebrew back in the KOFT days.
Yaayyy...
There's all my notable achievements.
