There is a dumbass gimmick mage too atm, that uses Vexclaw rng, seems lame but greedy as hell so it works well vs control. Shudderwock is keeping control grounded, it is like the old Raza decks, only draws vs itsself.

I’m actually impressed with the decks available so far. The odd and even mechanic has doubled the number of archetypes. At this point most classes have multiple viable decks.
once again, just like in tgt Rogue is missing out due to their hero power. It isn’t meant to be reused everyturn and the upgraded dagger isn’t powerful enough. I think they should upgrade their upgraded hero power to give it lifesteal or something.
Cubelock is and old deck and people know how to play it, while with other decks they are still experimenting. I'd wait a week or two to say anything about the meta.
Cubelock has been severely weakened by losing N'zoth. Prior to Witchwood when I lost to Cubelock with one of my control decks it was usually after I'd used all my removal and they dropped N'zoth. Since the rotation, I've steamrolled every Cubelock I've faced.
Right now the only deck that pisses me off is Cancerwock, and that's really only because there are currently no available tech cards to break up the combo.

Losing N'Zoth was a setback, but it's not as bad as it seems valuewise, just add Rin as additional win condition, there is still no other Controldeck that I'am aware of, that can outvalue Warlock.
Oh and Warlock even has a techcard to break up the Shudder combo.
Actually Odd Rogue is a crazy good aggro archetype. Dog piloted it at very high legend ranks with great siccess today. And I have a positive winrate at rank 2 with it currently.

Too sweet indeed :)
You know you can’t play Rin in cubelock?
Why? It was frequently run in the K&C version of the deck. My answer to it though has always been silence. My silence priorities are as such:
1) Rin
2) Cube
3) Acolyte
I'm also playing mostly odd decks ATM, and since MC Tech is odd I figured what the hell and put him in a few of my decks. Has won me a few games, and can be particularly useful against Cubelock since their big plays put more than four minions on the board.
Shudder is like Exodia Mage, it beats Control and dies to face and aggressive midrange decks - It's not actually that strong a deck. (for reference even Shaman has a better winrate as of right now)
Paladin is the second strongest deck in the game (haven't quite been figured out if even or odd is the best one yet, but odd beats even which means that as long as even exists odd will also be there)
And Cubelock is just shitting all over everything when piloted by someone that knows what they're doing, it doesn't really have any super bad matchups (it's worst matchup right now seems to be Hunter because they kill them before they get to do anything, but it's only right below 50%) and has some free matchups (like quest warrior which is like 80-20 or something for Cube)
Baku decks are unbeatable. I played against em like 20 times in ladder, couldn't win a single time. Stupid and OP card, need to be removed from the game.

It was run because of Medivh, if you can't destroy your own weapon, there is no point in playing Rin.
I never once saw Medivh in Cubelock. Usually in my games against Cubelock Rin would be played early if at all, and if it wasn't silenced by me they would simply wait until after playing Azari to equip the weapon.
If you don't equip the weapon until you can play Azari, you're really decreasing your winrate.
I'm just telling you what my opponents were doing. Like I said I almost always hit Rin with a silence anyway, usually I wouldn't lose until I was finally out of removal and my opponent dropped N'Zoth. When I played Cubelock myself I didn't include Rin, but more often than not I didn't draw the weapon until late in the game anyway.

So, couple of days after release, it's Baku everything and a whole lot of Shudder.
But, what will last?
Each of these decks seems fairly poor and Cube Warlock seems untouchable.
What do you guys think, will the meta fall back to exactly what it was a couple of weeks ago?
Try the deck from my signature 21-7 today ... from rank 19 to rank 14 its low rank but still playing vs paladins, cubes, hunters feels so ez :)
