beat Tess on second try, Shaw on first, but I haven't been able to do much with Darius Crowley...his playstyle is so incredibly slow and the fact that you're up agianst the Forlorn lovers as the alst boss doesn't help either
I thought it was quite a bit easier, went 38-1 so far...and the one loss was because i can't count to 3 successfully 100% of the time.
There is randomness of course, in the buckets you get and the draws during the game so maybe i was just lucky...i don't really think so, i think its easier but i could be wrong.
First impressions for me is that it isn't too bad. Just tried it out for the first time and beat Tess on the first try. The Kingsbane guy at the end had me worried at first but then I realized he mostly attacks minions so I kept my board presence up until I was able to get the killing blow.
Did Tess and Shaw on my first first try, but when I redid them (to get the quest), got defeated at the 6th boss. My sample isn't large enough obviously, but it does seem to have high variance.

try to get the exstra damge for his cannon if you can get up to 2+ damage you can win the early game with just the cannon also get his 15 15 giant its a great end game tool I even manged to clear a full bored of giants against the quest druid boss with just chaining the cannon and madin of the lake
Beat it as Darius. Got the treasure that increases the cannon damage to 2, another that everytime you use the cannon you reduce the mana cost of a random card in your hand by 1. Then got a minion that summons another cannon and the Maiden in the Lake that makes Hero Power cost 1.
By the end of it I was having Ragnaros, Sylvanas and everything else at 0 mana and making impossible for any boss to create a board. Though I only beat the last boss on Fatigue.
Toki is being the hardest for me, don't think I got above 4 with her in two tries. Shaw and Tess got to 7.
The balance seems to be waaaay out of whack on this one. Quite a few of the level 2-4 bosses are near impossible, while most of the 5-7 ones are some of the easiest games I've played in my life. Some of the bosses are just straight up rng whether you win or lose (aka the one that hex's a random minion). I'm not sure if I'll bother getting the card back for this one.
Idk how but with Tess i keep destroyed early. The satyr basically screwed over on one run. Then had no answers against the quest murloc. Haven't done the others
I have played through with all classes twice now. I have never seen the 8th boss, and never felt like the games were hard until the 6th boss. Ie I have literally lost everytime against the 6th or 7th boss.
I beat dungeon run with all class pretty easily, warrior was the only one that I had to do a bunch. Maybe I am playing it wrong, but the varience of monster hunt seems way higher than dungeon run, in most of the games I lost, I just felt like I either got offered crap and eventually fought a boss that was impossible to beat or I would build a great deck and eventually fight a boss that was the hard counter to my deck.Ie
I built a really great fatige deck with toki, and was just cruzing through I had 2 double starting health, and the rush 2/6 that becomes a 6/6. then I fough the boss that shuffles their minions back into their deck, I may have still have won, except she hit my 2 Mana 6/6 with gang up. Never ending boards of 6/6s and 4/4s, and no way to win in fatige.
I had success drafting Deathrattle decks for day one, completing Tess and Shaw. I've tried the other two Heroes twice each, but haven't been able to draft particularly synergistic decks. In particular, I found the choices for Toki to be scattered all over the place - given her "flavour" as a crazy, chaos mage, I suspect it's intentional. I'll probably try a run every day, until I complete the remaining pair . . .
This run is just terrible ... 90% of luck. It's not that AI is good, it's their OP draws/powers etc. It's the kind of "hard" which was implemented in games 20 years ago ... I got 4x10 wins for packs, and maybe I'll try to do it with all classes someday (currently done it with Tess and Darius). It just feels that you wasn't able to do anything. Maybe if treasure picks would be after you know next opponent then it could be fun, but now it's just exhausting :/
It is all a matter of starts.sometimes you cant help it and end up in weird ways or not drawing stuffs. I won my last run with toki setting up a full board of sorcerers then placed antonidas and facerolled the future toki, even before her quest finished. But again,it is all a matter of luck. Got agatha at the 4th try and in my opinion, this run and the previous one are way easier then the previous adventures, such as blackrock heroic, in which it really took me weeks for some heroic bosses.
Anyway, beside toki, and the hunter thing, which have to be played aggressively, the best start is to have a mixed deck.So not only focused on one thing. The rest is up to the rng drafts that the game gives you.
The first three classes have been pretty challenging but also rewarding when played correctly. What I cannot endure, is the bullshit rng element in case of Toki. Say what you want - I'm simply not having fun trying to finish the run with this "hero".
My quality time with Toki so far: (don't worry, it's really short)
Getting all your minions stolen by turn 4..
Edit: Getting destroyed by bs piper second time in a row ok fun xD
By the kripperinos combined!
I only played two monsters so far at lunch but found them quite easy.

I tried having fun once. It was awful.
Tess was extremly easy but the other Hunter seem to have it pretty hard... especially against the 7th Bosses.
You are drunk if you think this is harder than dungeon run

Hello.
Did my first too runs as tracker and Cannor and it was quite easy.
Niira has stopped me twice now....

It's like nobody even play tested this mode :/

Do or do not. There is no try.
