Only tried once with Tess and the last two matches at some point i thought i was gonna lose. Shivers turned easy wheb he played poison on kingsbane and i copied every single time for 0 cause of treasure on my eaglehorn with many charges after playing that minion that gets u 5 random hunter secrets in board. Plus i milled his Kingsbane by sheer luck
I have no idea how people are beating this first try. I keep making to 6 or 8 and get smashed by something completely out of my control. Super frustrating and not at all fun for me.
It feels quite a bit harder. In the dungeon run I only had to repeat a run once to win all the 8, now I am on my fifth try with Loki and also needed three tries with the houndmaster.

The same way that some people get 5 legends in 20 packs ;)
I definitely feel like its more difficult. I cleared every class on dungeon run in no more than three attempts each, I have put in more runs with each of these witch run classes and have yet to get a single victory.
Maybe I was just lucky during dungeon run and its catching up to me now, but it definitely feels more difficult.
Tess took me 2 goes. Got overwhelmed by face collector on the first, on the second it was a cakewalk.
Darius took me 1. To complete the quest I then did a second run, picking what I thought were the funnest, dumbest options. I got to the last boss on that run.
Shaw took me 1. Again, got to the last boss on a second run, with possibly the worst deck I've ever used in this game. I've played random deck tavern brawls with better synergy. Stuff like 3 Play deads and 3 deathrattle minions, only one of which was worth triggering.
Toki took me 2. I got greedy with the first pick and took 2 x Lich Kings and 1 x Kel'Thuzard, and got overwhelmed early on against the second boss. Second time, I got the Quest and 2 double times. It's hard not to win when you have 4 uninterrupted turns.
Hagatha took me a few goes though. Only real challenge to be found in this. It's fun, but I doubt I'll play as much as dungeon run. I do want to try and build entirely around the Chuck card at some point though, so I'll play a bit more. The idea of throwing Arthas, Kel'Thuzard and Troggzor at the enemy is just too much to forego.
Its FAR easier for me. Beat all the final bosses on my first try, except Toki, because I played my Time Warp SECOND in my turn... Haven't gone for hagatha yet.
Really I think it depends on who you fight. Gnomenapper, Face Collector, and Piper are all absurd to deal with. Then theres the Whisperer who gets OTKd on turn 1 by 2 classes.
Dungeon run was way harder. I had probably 10+ runs with mage and priest before I beat them. In this I immediately beat Crowley twice in a row without any losses (was stupid enough to play as him before I saw the quest pop up for Tess) and beat Shaw my first time as well. I had to restart Toki twice because I timed out (was playing at work and got distracted) and a third time because I conceded when I forgot that I had the retry a boss treasure/passive (can't remember which it was). Tess took me 4 times but I restarted once intentionally due to wanting to get double reduction on generated cards for the meme win.
This next text about face collector and toki interaction: Doesnt help that i get face collector as my 6th boss every time. He shits on me by turn 6 constantly( turn 3 draw 3 copies of card they all free btw how about some evolution) , sometimes using a treasure (he copies your deck) some times just simply getting some random ass legendary, last time i was trying to clear his board, but he got away -> malganis -> reflection -> (holy shit are you kidding me )mirage caller from portal. I did cleared his board, managed to get random ice block, but it doesnt matter, he is still full hp and bombs keep coming. my score with toki is like 50 boss kills, so stupid, dont trust people talking double spell route, it works if you get lucky on deck building + on draws + on your enemy not getting lucky. and then they talk "whos face collector". so tilted, wrong thread for that i guess.
Infinite toki made me laugh for almost one hour, i finished her run and was really fun and kinda hard, not as much as the KnC runs. The thing made me laugh hard was her 10mana spell that Restart the game all over again and u keep ur life (she's commin with her life full again lol) I could pass from this with a really good deck I built and lots of luck to pass from their 20/20+drops hahahaha
it's not that harder, it's just cause u're not used to their hero power yet
I had most troubles with Tess, her nemesis kept smashing my face and killing me before turn 5. The problem was that his AI is coded that if he doesn't have poisonous on weapon he will only go face. Lost about 5 times cause of this and 6th time when he finally got poisonous spell for the weapon I got past him without trouble.
Hagatha fight is long, hard and very interesting, I really felt like a kid again trying to make the most out of every turn. I managed to beat her the second try, at fatigue, without using Crowley because for me Tess hero power is the most OP.
For the Hagatha fight I can give you some advice: you will not loose anything for using another hero early, his cards will be added to your deck, you will keep all the passives so you can plan ahead. I found out that the best ones are: Hound master-Heal 2 each turn, Toki - repeat the first spell (works great with Tess hero power + Animal Companion or other spells that can't trigger your minions), Tess- double the hero power, ofc, and Crowley - I think +0/+3 or the weapon replacement.
In total i think I had 10h of playtime that I enjoyed a lot. Story-telling wasn't as good as in the old "adventures": characters only interact with their nemesis during the fight, they could have made the plot a little better focusing on both Hagatha and the respective nemesis. The changes and improvements compared to the dungeon runs were welcome and noticeable. In total I say it's a great expansion.
Not necessarily harder, it's just that some of the bosses (e.g. Face Collector who is playing with a copy of YOUR deck and his heropower evolves a minion by 2 for FREE) are just stupidly unfair so that you get to restart every now and then. In general, it's a mode full of RNG (the treasures, the abilities, the draft etc.) so don't expect skillful plays.
Gotta say though that playing with Toki is not fun at all, since almost everything she does has a random outcome. Basically you're rolling the dice most of the time to see if you can advance to her nemesis.
I’ve beaten it with Tess, lost once with Darius so far (whisperer used divine spirit 8 times on his mana addict)
at final boss of Darius now

It definitely "feels" harder - the bosses are tough and I haven't made it through all 8 bosses yet on a single class.

It's much easier -_- and there are just 4 heroes
Far far easier in my opinion.

yea its harder than dungeon run for sure, but the last bosses seem easier tbh

I do think the AI was improved a bit. It was kinda neccisary that it is hard because there are only 4 classes
