IMO resurrect should work that it it resurrects a minion with health which was a base ("white") health when this minion died (or 1st time appeared on the board)
This way any Barnes creature will be resurrected as 1/1, and Shadow Essence ones will be 5/5.
My hopes are, that with 2nd expansion (don't care about theme) we'll get mechanics like graveyard, card order manipulation (put on top/back of stack) and maybe pick from top 3 (discover like) instead of draw or some sidehand ...
I have one idea... maybe Blizzard should separate "died" from "destroyed" just like they have different interactions for minions "played" vs "summoned". This way eg all resurrect minions "which died this game" won't include destroyed ones. It'll be something similar to "banish" effect in card games which have graveyard.
I have no idea how people are beating this first try. I keep making to 6 or 8 and get smashed by something completely out of my control. Super frustrating and not at all fun for me.
The same way that some people get 5 legends in 20 packs ;)
This run is just terrible ... 90% of luck. It's not that AI is good, it's their OP draws/powers etc. It's the kind of "hard" which was implemented in games 20 years ago ... I got 4x10 wins for packs, and maybe I'll try to do it with all classes someday (currently done it with Tess and Darius). It just feels that you wasn't able to do anything. Maybe if treasure picks would be after you know next opponent then it could be fun, but now it's just exhausting :/
IMO it's OK for a new player. Anyone can grind to lvl 20 (because you can't fall on ranks bellow 20) and this is guaranteed golden common (exchangeable to common of choice). Then 15 is reachable after few seasons even with self made decks (after understanding basic stuff/mechanics). We need to understand, that not everyone need to reach rank 5 on 1st try. It's not different in other games ... for example LoL, CS:GO, WoW - you can't do much first 3-6 months from the start - you need to acquire skill/tools. Current HS is much better place for newbies - daily quests for minimum 50g, Tawern Brawl (pack each few days), each expansion have giveaways/events, sometimes there is free arena ticket or free packs for voting for a winner/watching twitch championship. Only doing quests gives you minimum 1pack per 2 days. Plus there is cheap welcome bundle. Also season rotation is something that might help since new players don't need to care about rotated out sets. Best case scenario i "only" 4 sets + basic, worst - 6sets + basic (but then only few months waiting and we have new rotation).
For PW there was even dedicated gadgets to help you with your - how complicated - goal :D On screen we have Hunter - coundn't find image for warrior :D

I'll keep every single copy of this card - especially golden! This will be nerfed/changed pretty fast -you'll see :)

Paladin is so popular because it's fast deck (game duration ~6min) - quick rank climbing :)

Something like "Dark Ranger" card with passive effect to disable all card effects when on board (both sides) might be fun/frustrating ;)
