So not a while ago I've decided to try and beat all the heroic adventures in Hearthstone (as it was a fairly fun thing to do, given that KotFT adventure really got me interested in that, as the ladder at that moment was just a druid infested mess). I have initially started with Naxx. It was alright, a few bosses were quite tough (like Loatheb which was a really hard boss) but it still worked out well. Then I went through the League of Explorers for that sweet card back. Again, some of the bosses were pretty tough (Slitherspear for instance) but when you find an appropriate deck and master it, you can beat him consistently and it feels pretty rewarding. Karazhan was fairly easy, except the last fight, which involved a lot of rng but nonetheless was a pretty well-designed battle. I was really having a lot of fun with all the adventures.
That was until I finally tried to take down BRM. While most of the bosses, like Nefarian and Rend were quite hard and required a lot of fine-tuning to kill them, they were pretty cool and left a feeling of achievement when you finally defeated them. And then there is Chromaggus. That piece of shit that I simply can't defeat. I really lost count on the attempts that I wasted trying to beat him. The funniest thing is that I didn't even come close. The closest I got was him having 36 hp out of total 60. And that counts in many decks and revisions to those decks:
Control Mage: you can manage to try and stabilize using Frost Lich Jaina which I have several times. One of the times when he had one card in his hand, I got rid of the most of afflictions, played Jaina and started to clear the board, a random Brood Affliction: Red that deals 3 damage appeared in my hand, setting my hp to 0.
Odd Control Mage: the same as the control mage. You can try and stabilize but in the end, it doesn't matter because he just out-tempos you at any given turn.
Reno Mage: putting it simply, against that boss, if you need to play Reno Jackson you are already screwed even if you play him.
Elemental Mage: can't survive until Frost Lich Jaina even though afflictions combo well with Leyline Manipulator he just swarms the board and gains tempo advantage from which there is no way out really fast.
Aggro Warlock: works in the short term, sucks in the long game when he has removal/big minions available.
Discard warlock: works inconsistently. Most of the time managed to discard some useful cards rather than the numerous amounts of afflictions he kept giving me. I used a variation of the discolock without Lakkari Sacrifice as I don't have it and it would be just ridiculous if the only way you can beat this guy is by crafting the card which is otherwise useless.
Cube Warlock: Is too slow at the moment. In the end, there is not enough steam to finish the game and the guy comes at you really fast.
Priest deck by neonangel: This is by far the most effective one. Though, can't seem to get it to work. Watched the video from a few years ago when he showcased the deck and it performed really well. One thing is that I think Blizzard really fixed some of the bosses upping their difficulty or maybe I'm just getting crushingly unlucky.
Topsy Turvy Priest: can't survive until the combo. Damn, can't survive even until Psychic Scream.
So, there we go. One boss left and I can't take him down. That's why I would really love some of the suggestions from somebody who managed to take this boss down recently. I can just drop that guy and quit but it would be a shame since he's the only boss left for me to beat. Thanks and sorry for TL;DR
The strategy that worked for me was a Druid deck consisting of big minions, Alarm-o-Bot, and Innervate. It requires a lot of resetting until you get the perfect mulligan that lets you Innervate Alarm-o-bot on turn 1. From there, draw big minions and keep playing Alarm-o-bot every time it bounces back into your hand. Works wonders using lots of other adventure cards like Chromaggus and Kel'Thuzad, as well as some big taunts.

1. Majority of the decks there used to beat the guy with a perfect hand. After blizzard fixed the AI, most of those decks are redundant (the AI doesn't make some of the mistakes he used to make in the past)
2. Some of the decks contain cards that were nerfed since then. One of my friends crapped on Chromaggus with the Naga Sea Witch Hunter back when it was a cancer of wild. Now, this deck is useless.
3. Why try 8 pages of decks that may not even work, when you can ask for one deck that did it for somebody and master it?

Thanks for the suggestion! Do you think that this guy will still ignore the Alarm-o-Bot though?
Optimally you want to pull a large taunt first, such as Ironbark Protector, followed by other large taunts and Kel'Thuzad to revive them. The large taunts will prevent Chromaggus from attacking your Alarm-o-Bot.
While bosses do require a certain amount of skill to beat; what has always bothered me is that FTP is not doable in the old expansions. If you don't have the collection, you're not beating the bosses. Skill hardly matters; bosses cheat and requires specific strategies.

These Adventures were very beatable back when the only cards available was Classic, Naxx, GvG and Blackrock Mountain.
Now you also have cards from The Grand Tournament, League of Explorers, Whispers of the Old Gods, One Night in Karazhan, Mean Streets of Gadgetzan, Journey to Un'Goro, Knights of the Frozen Throne, Kobolds and Catacombs, The Witchwood and Boomsday Project.

This deck made it for me. Oakheart with Alexstraza was the key.

These quests should be suuuuuuper easy :)
Just try Chromaggus then, no?
