I'm a pretty new Hearthstone player and I'm having a blast playing so far. :) I have mostly played shaman and warlock, but i recently got Grommash in a pack so I decided that i would like to give the dragon warrior a try since it seems to be alot of fun. I also recently got a golden the beast which i dusted, so i got some dust to spend now aswell. But I don't feel like spending gold on the blackrock expansion since I heard it's going out from standard soon. Both the blackwing corruptor and the drakonid seems to be really powerfull cards so i understand i will be missing out, but i would still like to play around with it. Below you can see the decklist I copied with the exception of the blackrock cards. So i have been thinking a bit what would could be a possible replacement, but to be honest I don't really have a lot of experience in playing warrior or this type of deck. Would adding 2 twilight drakes and 2 Netherspite Historians be a good option to get a bit more value to the drakes with the extra cards? Right now I'm just playing around with Sylvanas, harrison jones (my 2 favorite cards) a bookwyrm and Onyxia. I just added Onyxia because i felt like i needed more dragons. Would really appreciate some advice from you experienced players. Cheers! :)
I have to agree. If you don't have Blackwing Corruptor, it's just a worse deck in every way and there's no real replacement at the moment. Maybe something comes with the new expansion, but I wouldn't hold my breath.
Thanks for your responses, appreciate it! I'm just playing for fun and enjoying my dragon warrior at the moment, so I'm gonna continue and see how far i can get with it even though it might not be as good as it could be. So still interested in hearing what would be a good alternative for the black rock cards. :)
If you want to have fun with a deck that plays similarly to Dragon Warrior you would best be trying Tempo Warrior. It's the evolutionary ancestor of the Dragon Warrior we know today and was played a lot immediately after Whispers of the Old Gods. Then as time went on, by natural selection Tempo Warriors developed the ability to use cards with Dragon synergy.
Found this decklist, i have ragnaros cairne and grommash. Can i switch the other legendarys with some neutral cards that would benefit decks with other classes as well?
Okey nice! Is Wrynn worth crafting? Can it be used in alot of warrior decks?
Varian Wrynn is a super powerful card, that's most useful in control decks (obvious Elise Starseeker -> Golden Monkey synergy). Plus it's TGT, so it's rotating out in spring. It's a question wether you can spare the dust. Imho it's wiser to go for Justicar Trueheart, as she's more useful and you can build nice control (dragon control included) decks around her. Apart from that, she'll be viable in Wild after rotation.
Thanks for the suggestions, but i think will just hold on to the dust in case these cards will be rotated out. Since I'm mostly interested in playing standard. Appreciate the response though :)
I don't actually run Varian Wrynn in my build, although after seeing the comments here, I might give him a craft. Malkorok is highly overrated as he has a penchant for furnishing you with a Cursed Blade. But seriously, he is better than boom because you get to attack right away, and if he give you Gorehowl or Truesilver Champion, it's usually lights out. Such a shame it isn't any weapon, like Hook or Massive Runeblade

There is no way to play Dragon warrior without corrupter and crusher, the deck is too dependent on them

Okey, thanks! I will look into that :)

I've no clue what I'm doing...
I would suggest these Changes for you:
- Malkorok, Varian, Arathi
+ 2 Korkon Elite, 1 Fierce Monkey
Thanks, I will give it a try! :)
