The only solution I can come up with is to play Aggro Shaman and tear their face off before they can do anything. But I'm mainly playing priest to get to 500 wins, and the warrior matchup seems completely impossible. The warrior seems to be doing the exact same thing I am doing, but he's just so much better at it. His removal cards are much better, his lifegain is much better, everything they do is just a better version of what priest does. Not to mention they also have weapons on top of it so they can actually make use of their extra lifegain.
Can anyone give me some tips on how to beat a warrior?

are you playing Elise Starseeker in your deck? It increases your chances to win in control match ups
Many Tempo/Midrange decks make them struggle. E.g. Midrange hunter is favored against Control Warrior due to the sticky minions and the constant damage (in early game Warrio doesn't play many minions abut removes Hunter's minions with his weapon-> face damage). And Savannah Highmane is the Control Warrior's nightmare.
If you want to play priest, play dragon priest. It is not favored, but it should have a fair chance. I usually play for tempo, while having also some removal for his bigger minions. But if he can stay alive for too long, then it's probably also over. In my experience it is important to keep his armor down (which is sometimes difficult) and heal your most important minions so that he can't execute them. E.g. Velen's chosen on a Blackwing technician and hide him behind the taunts.
As an avid control warrior player, I agree that priest is one of my easier match ups. However, these games often go to fatigue and I find that Entomb can really wreck me. Shuffling my Ysera or Alexstraza into your deck is a huge swing in leverage in a matchup like this.
Since you're looking to beat Control Warrior with Priest, Shadow Priest is very favored against it. Looking at my stats, I'm 12-3 against warrior and I think at least 2 of those loses were against Patron.
Anyfin can Happen Paladin is probably the best possible deck against control warrior. Control priest / midrange druid are fine but not even close to this annoying paladin.

Play mid hunter, mid range paladin or murloc paladin. its auto win. Case closed. This game is a joke when it comes to balance. Its all about what kind of matchup you get. You need sick rng even before you hit the play button.
Murloc paladin is indeed auto - win against CW if you play it properly. There is no almost no way to survive double anyfin combo even with tons of armor. There is almost no way to kill this kind of pala before double anyfin without Alexstrasza. So fatigue and rush strategy don't work. And warrior has no tools to polymorph or steal any of these murloc. Maybe some kind of mill warrior would work but standard CW vs murloc pala = even worse matchup than CW for freeze mage.
Midrange pala is heavily favoured but it's not like you need "sick rng" to beat them as CW. Mid - pala matchup really depends on warrior's tech choices though. For example Ysera who won me few games against them on her own.
I don't agree about midrange hunter. Over last few months i have really good win ratio against them as CW. Of course, double highmane on curve is still problematic but since we have tools like Justicar Trueheart to escape from kill command lethal range or Bash to kill huffers without taking body damage this matchup became quite good for warrior.
Other bad matchups for CW? Midrange Druid with Harrison and Control Priest. Standard Midrange druid is still slightly favoured(60 40 maybe) but Harrison tech really increase that win ratio. Control priest almost always wins fatigue battle but CW can still outvalue him by playing Golden Monkey pretty fast.
I've played control warrior since beta and honestly this is one of the best times for priest in this matchup. Entomb is absolutely bonkers good and as long as you priests don't overextend the warrior will reach fatigue first which then gives the advantage to the priest. I find that priests that run justicar are a bit tougher to deal with as well. For warriors; When I get mad at priest I just add the brann-juggernaut combo to my deck and which is almost an auto win vs priest.

I agree with you. Alex + Gorehowl works well against them too. I think that Juggernaut is too slow against aggro while Alex can save your life against these deck. No one expect her too because not many warriors runs her nowadays. Not a long time ago:
Personally, I've been having no problems against Wallet Warrior with midrange paladin. I usually play conservatively until I either get them to burn their brawl or I get Justicar Trueheart and overwhelm them with my advanced hero power, saving one or both of my quartermasters for surprise lethal.
Another option is using an Elise Priest deck. With double Entomb, light bombs, SW:D, and shrinkmiester/cabal combo for ysera, you should be able to grind out the game until they run out of threats or you get your monkey.
I've found priest to be really good against control warrior myself. Just don't draw any cards and go for the best value play every turn and you will eventually win through card advantage and elise. If you want to change decks then basically go with anything midrange and don't play hard into brawls.
I have an easy time against control warrior when i use my renolock. I have a 100% winrate whenever i jaraxxus early against control warrior. The situation should be there's no weapon and a clear board which is not hard to achieve against warriors.
Warrior is strong because of its hard removal and armor gain but they can't apply much pressure early in the board. Almost all token deck will wreck warriors because tokens are not equal to cards.
Pressure early or force his removal on unimportant minions and win the game
Paladins are quite the nightmare of warriors they outvalue them with jsut the hero power.. warriors are bad dealing with tokens and divine shields.. and with whoamI
I usually win with my control priest vs warrior. Unless I make a mistake in the fatigue war. Just don't draw too many cards, and carefully remove their threats.
If I see an Elise, I save an entomb for the Golden Monkey. By the time they play it, there aren't many cards left to draw, so they do all the hard work setting the Monkey up, and I steal it and usually draw it in the next couple of turns. The Monkey is great for converting your unused Northshire Clerics & Power World Shields into playable cards.

Control Priest wins if done right, even more so any variant of Handlock with Jaraxxus (just gotta care for Grommash).
Dab
Any Lord Jaraxxus deck, Elise Starseeker decks, Midrange Paladin. Control Warrior is far from unbeatable. Midrange Druid is also 60% favored.

Moved to Class Discussion - Warrior.
If you're happy and you know it... well that's good :)
