Yes. But, honestly, the more you play this deck, the better you'll be at killing off the DANGEROUS minions. Don't forget that you have insane board clears with [card]Arcane Flakmage[/card].
Don't worry about taking too much damage for a turn if you can clear the board next turn and save your face damage spells/battlecries
lol, hey, if you want, i can tell you that if you play a lot of small buffable minions, with quick card draw, then you beat mage easy! Rogues demolish this deck~
Hey! Thanks for the comment! Honestly? No. The Polymorph: Boar is not just a "silence", but it's also burst 4 damage for 3 mana. It's inclusion isn't a guarantee win, even if you have it in hand, but it sure raises your chances to your favour :)
Here's the biggest pitfall that I forgot to point out:
youre comparing two completely separate game models. One is digital, the other is physical. One requires no money to start, while the other does. One is globally accessible, while the other isn't.
Its kind of like trying to compare a fast food place to a high class restaurant. Or comparing an orange to an apple, they're both fruit yet they're eaten differently.
I think you should make the same thread again, except compare hearthstone to other f2p digital card games, like duelyst or gwen (it's f2p right?) anyways, that's how you don't get threads like these heh
I'll post you some statistics from HS decktracker when I get back to my computer.
I would say around 200 games. Playing mostly taunt warrior, hunter, quest rogue and latest some murloc paladdin.
I've put some money in yeah. Welcome-bundle, ungoro prepurchase, gadgetzan, maybe 30 packs and prob around 40 arena runs with cash.
Damn... I really wanted to be impressed, but that's a LOT of money. You're just another player then :( I commend you for your skill but this might as well be in the "headed to legend" thread. You broke my heart pepetus!
I have zero dollars to spare because I'm on welfare. I want to play a card game. Mtg looks good, can I start with 0 dollars? No? Damn. Guess I can't play card games :(
oh what's this? The makers of Warcraft made a card game, but I don't have money :( oh I can play? Nice! But how can they afford it if I never put in any money? Oh some other people have disposable income? Lucky >.< oh I got a legendary from my free packs! Oh another!
/end sarcasm
This is the world of economics. Don't just think about the people that HAVE money to spend, think about all those that don't, and those that live in countries with horrible economies. In the grand scheme of things blizzard NEEDS to do this in order to sustain the free to play model.
I bought 50 packs with gold, got 2 hemits and the Mage legendary. my friend opened 40 and got 4 legendaries. My brother bought the 50 preseason thing and got only 1. Yet, money or no money we can all play!

I remember them in the past saying they need to make sure the achievements would be fun, not annoying or whatever.
they could learn a lot if they used hearthpwns model.
