Those priests and their perfect curves and all how do I counter it.. they get all the 1,2,3,4,5 dragon synergy cards somehow early what can I do against it?? I play midrange paladin so far I think I am 1/2 against that deck but it's so frustrating.. what can I do against it?
Why is patron good against this priest? I fought once and won but I think I was lucky.
handlock well I know why.. it's too slow and he can clear the board easily. don't have this deck missing 1,200 dust.
oil rogue? how though? yet don't have this deck either missing a prep.
with zoo you need so much luck. but ok good to know I can pick it if I need.. any specific list is better against it?
So many restriction on cards and you wanna talk about teching against a deck? Dude, stop wasting our time please.
I got the TECH cards like BGH and guys.. sorry for not having all the cards in the world.. I am not a wallet player I am F2P I have like 9 decks though.

Nobody gives a ravine's behind about whether you are F2P or not. It isn't even relevant to the discussion.

Play classic handlock or demon handlock, you almost auto-win against them (but expect painful games against face hunter and dragon warriors...)
Facehunter is still manageable with Handlock if it is tech-ed slightly against aggro. Warrior was a good matchup until TGT, now it's about a coin flip depending on whether they drop Justicar or not. The dragons in Control Warrior, and even Varian, are manageable. It is the 4 armor per turn that will kill Handlock, or any other deck for that matter.
Also paladin has pretty much no chance against dragon priest now, since everyone is turning to tempo based flood paladin, being either midrange or aggressive. If meta shifts to control, that might work because real control paladin is pretty awesome, but unfortunately too slow.
Personally when I hear a non-wallet player ask how to counter an expensive deck my advice is to spend some money or accept your place in the hierarchy of life. That's not to sound arrogant but if I don't have access to money or certain cards then I accept that there are decks and players I simply don't have the resources to be in that class...unless there is a way to be creative with the cards I do have access to.
Warrior is good vs Priest, but Priest is starting to adapt to it. fjora lightbane is a royal pain in the behind to remove if they power word:shield it.

most of the low end drops die to weapons or can't trade with their low end minion (ie: armormaster, acolyte of pain) when pit against patron while their high end drops are easily executed.... and patron has more draws and more health.... the extra health makes a huge different....
dragon priest a real bitch right now play ramp druid with x2 ancient of war x2 senjins x2 druid of the claw x1 ironbark protector and any other good taunts. you should also play the black knight
Hmm not exactly, I mean Control Warrior is pretty much boned unless they get Brawl, even then, DP has so many minions and annoying buffs (Velens, Power Word:Shield) that it's hard for Warrior to remove enough threats before dropping their own. Fiery War Axe is quite ineffective and usually Deathbite is worse due to the buffs and high health of the DP minions.
I played about a hundred games of dragon priest this season. Control warrior is, bar none, the hardest matchup. In fact, it's almost impossible—for the priest to win, the warrior player must get a truly terrible draw or make really, really stupid mistakes. Handlock is also extremely hard, although tech choices by the priest (e.g. Mass Dispel, a second Lightbomb) can improve that one. Control priest is difficult, as is freeze mage, although neither is as difficult as handlock. Mech mage and tempo mage are probably 50/50-ish. Basically everything else in the current meta favors dragon priest (all hunters, all paladins, all druids, zoolock, echo mage, patron warrior). I only fought three oil rogues, but I demolished them all so one-sidedly that I'm confident saying that matchup favors the priest too (and the theorycraft supports that idea). I basically didn't see shaman (zero games between rank 5 and legend), so who knows about that one.
If you want to stick with paladin, The Black Knight is definitely very good anti-dragon tech. Paladins so rarely run Equality now that one copy might also really catch a priest by surprise. I ran an Ironbeak Owl and one Holy Smite with Vol'jin, but most priests run neither, so Blackwing Corruptor (and maybe one copy of Shadow Word: Pain) are the only ways they can reach around a taunt to kill something small. You can use that to your advantage, setting up Redemption traps that the priest can't play around (Coghammer on Piloted Shredder is especially nasty, as is Tirion Fordring of course). If you're running secret paladin, don't bother with Competitive Spirit and Repentance; they're just not worth the card slots.
It's definitely just a bad matchup for any paladin, though. The priest has four strong 1-drops that you simply can't clear (unless you get a miraculous Secretkeeper opener—but opening with Secretkeeper and two secrets will probably lead you to defeat eventually unless you get a lucky Divine Favor draw), plus four buffs and two sturdy 2-drop taunts to protect them and, in some variants (like mine, with Smite and SW:P) nukes to clear away Knife Jugglers or other threats.
I still defeat Dragon Priests on a regular basis using Secret Paladin (The Midrange version). You have to try mulligan for cards that will establish pressure and board dominance early game. Blessing of Kings and a well-timed Repentance helped me a lot for clearing out their minions early on. But IMO the classic midrange Paladin have a better chance against Dragon Priests because it has more utility and staying power compared to Secret Paladins...
- Equality would help clear their high HP minions like Ysera / Twilight Guardians
- Murloc Knight can swarm the Board as well as being safe from Holy Nova's range. Dragon Priests can't commit too much on the board so over-swarming them later on is good.
- Aldors and BGH can easily shut down big minions overbuffed by Velens.
Dragon priest is easy with mid range or dragon paladin. With mid range just spawn infinite dudes in the late game with justicar, with dragon u outvalue them thanks to the 5/5 dragon am early ysera crushes them. A common thing is you need equality combo with either cons or pyro priest dont have deathrattle so it wrecks them.
control priest on the other hand...
also never spawn dudes unless you can get rid of the cleric give them answers youll never win even as cw

Play Handlock.
Pally can't beat Dragon Priest. You will need to tweak your deck to the point that it is no longer midrange, or pally.
"Put your face in the light!" - Tirion Fordring
just play a better deck

Handlock, also midrange hunter may screw their curves with freezing traps. Patron against all the 2-drops, but beware of Nova and Lightbomb.
