I'm trying to create a Control Paladin deck. In the current meta this archetype doesn't perform well - and I was gentle -, but I really hope that this situation will change after the release. Here's my first try:
What do you think about it? IMO it has many potential. I feel that the early game isn't bad, and it has enough card draw. I have two problems:
1) It's possible that the late-game is not that strong, but Kangor's Endless Army can be an answer. 2) The deck doesn't have any removal except Equality, Wild Pyromancer and rush minions. Should I cut Hammer of Wrath in? Or would it be too slow? I guess so, that's why it isn't on the list... What about a weapon?
I do the same. I could not resist and used my dust for paladin ... Trying mechadin out was powerful but felt clunky and thus unreliable. Not shure if Ashmore is a good idea. I use her in warrior and there she is a powerhouse.
I wouldn't say its core but when you get a 9/7 wargear it's pretty damn powerful for a 5 mana magnetic minion.
Sunkeeper Tarim is also not needed necessarily but its quite good even when you use it to lower your big mech to a 3/3 and kill it against an enemy minion. Since Kangor's Endless Army summons the mech back with the magnetic upgrades only it dispells Sunkeeper's effect. (Sorry if it's confusing but: If you use Sunkeeper on your 8/8 mech to kill an enemy minion it makes it 3/3 and it dies while killing the other minion, but since the legendary spell doesn't care about any upgrades but magnetic it means that it will come back as an 8/8, not a 3/3.) You probably knew this already tho.
just reworked my version and will try soon. Not shure about the mana curve. The deck and spells have huge card draw synergy. Thats also a reason why i post here. I did recognize you use the same spell synergies :-). The decks are diffrent. A complet other deck would be a low mech version, removing eggs, meatwaggons, gatekeepers and the void ripper, using corpestalkers, kangor, crystallizer and scalehides. This would have a significant lower mana usage and go for heavy lifesteal but without a huge combo potential.
