I dont know what the future of paladins are but I can tell you what I want for the class. They need to sort it out!
They gave the class secrets (because they didn't have an identity FailFish), which represent the seals in WoW. I would at least rename them to show us that much (Noble Seal, Seal of Avenge etc; just like how they've named Hunter secrets Traps). And then focus on divine shield, healing and buffing.
Who cares if anyfin paladin loses healbot? they have Holy Light, wich is not as good, but totally serves its purpouse. Minibot and Muster... put some more Humilities, or some other stall card.
It would be nice to give it some more dragon synergy, it really fits, or at least it fits a lot more than murlocs -.-
Paladin seems to get one or more of the most overpowered cards in every set, so if the trend continues, I'm sure Paladin players will have nothing to worry about.

Apparently you didnt play Paladin in the Naxx era. It was the worst playable class of all time.
1. there will be replacements for the cards that we lose. 2. i think blizz likes anyfin, or at lest the idea of a somehow lategame murlockdeck. i think 1-2 stronger murlocs and removal/hardnerf on the chargemurlocs warleader is the wasy blizz will/should go. nerfing warleader to adiacent murlocs wouldbe a nice idea i think,that is a nice way to let players efectivly trade with their chargemurlocs and still anyfi won't be thatOTK machine. another idea would be warleaders efect is an inspire, that way you would need to wait a turn or reduce yor heropowercost preanyfin. Loatheb gone and no nerf 4 anyfinpala is straigh sick. 3. i think challenger will be somehow nerfed, maybe via discover 2-3 secrets and no just straightforward get them out of your deck. 4. just saying "we don't know what crds willcome" doesn't help at all. this thread is about assuming and theorycrafting for the fun of it.
Looks like Anyfin won't be the future of Paladin once Standard hit. They updated the FAQ at one point, reward cards like Captain's Parrot, Gelbin Mekkatorque, and Old Murk-Eye will be part of wild.
I think it will be made stronger, with new secrets being introduced in the expansion.
Avenge loss is painful,but bigger problem is lose of muster,minibot,shredder,boom,haunted ,early in general : D...
Midrange paly is even more kappa & wrecked.
to be honest i dont have idea how they can balance paladins,if they add another army of deathrattle minions and good early game meta will be same as now - secret pala and rest of party : D.
Maybe control paly? But imho priests,warriors and mages are better at this.
Or we will just have 2 flavors - MLRGLGLGL fishadin and eboladin... but personally i dont like both archetypes.
(still dreamin about new viable midrange-control archetype) Kappa.

I've been playing a Deathlord Pally recently, it's so OP. It beats aggro, it beats control, it pretty much beats anything you throw at it, and people whine about secret pally being strong. I think Pally just has too many good cards compared to other classes, the other classes need a leg up.

When I looked up "Ninjas" in Thesaurus.com, it said "Ninja's can't be found" Well played Ninjas, well played.
Hopefully, something to make Anyfin's deck still viable. It should a appear a new murloc legendary (as it had happened with pirates in last expansions)... I just wish it will be for the control deck instead of SMOrc-ing in the face one (Giantfin brother, hello?)

Almost the funniest and efective deck I have ever tried. So frustrating that it will almost die with Standard (although I have some hope with the new corrupted murloc).

Blizzards' mentality of," If we want to make a card better, release a better version of it," is why paladin is in the issue it is now. I fear for the future of this class if we don't get some classic card buffs...
I'm guessing it's time for Paladin to finally receive a decent single target removal / damage spell.
If not, they will have to give Paladin a bunch more best, on-curve cards in many mana slots.
Seems like people are sick of that. Paladin players don't want to play on-curve tempo/aggro, and people playing against Paladin are sick of it too.
No one wants Paladin to be an aggro class.
Just give us the removal already and make Paladin a control class.
This! People get salty when paladin plays on curve but that's the only way you can fight for the board. Paladin's only direct damage spell is Hammer of Wrath and the only removal is Equality which also makes your board really weak.

I just hope the other classes get cards like what Paladin got in 2014/2015. Seriously, the quality of the cards they got was absolutely ridiculous

Without Murk-Eye, the Anyfin burst is only 12. Still quite a bit, more than Pyroblast, but nowhere near as powerful as it is now.
