I agree, but I also think it is of note that Wild has some cards that could easily counter ice block, such as Kezan Mystic. If ice block is faced against such cards, which do you think will prevail?
They already fucked many mage archetypes over the years especially combo and control type of decks now they strike the killing blow. There is no way to compensete iceblock without creating a meta fucker control card.
From now on mage will be a face only class why ? because there is aluneth which only support where you burn your hand fast.
Ice block will no longer be available in Standard! How will this affect gameplay and decks?

Priests heal (Shadowform), Warriors use armor against fatigue (Dead Man's Hand), Mages boost spells (Doomed Apprentice), Shamans are slow (Murloc Tidecaller), Rogues aren't scared (Sprint), Paladins use Silver Hand Recruits (Silver Hand Murloc), Hunters are balanced (King Krush), Warlocks sacrifice their health (Sacrificial Pact), and Druids use nature (Automized Bear Cub).
Mage will recieve much more healing and armor,
Frost Lich Jaina and Arcane Artifacter are examples of those cards
This will affect the wild with a heavy impact.
Mage will not only have powerful spells, ice block but also healing what will turn mage into a serious powerhouse
