5 mana 6/5 dragon with a free Deadly Shot, yes please.
Will Dragon Hunter be a thing? Maybe a Highlander variation? They are certainly lacking on Dragons, but this card may be the push to add a few more as even if the Battlecry doesn't trigger it is still a decent stats card.

I've been playing Dragon Highlander Hunter for a bit around rank 10 and it does not too shabby. This is a great boost for it!
If you'd say that Deadly Shot is fairly costed at 3, then this is basically a 6/5 for 2 - which, of course, is insane. Less insane in a meta with such strong effects to deal with, but still really good. Even if we called it a 6/5 for 3 (saying that Deadly Shot is worth 2 - which would make it an auto-include everywhere), that's still really strong.
The only reason I'd say it's "very good" over "meta-defining" is due to the presence of strong aggro decks that go wide rather than tall, and Deadly Shot has always been weaker against wide boards.

Oh, it doesn't matter if is or not a thing, Dragon Hunter is fun as heck. I'm playing a version I made with all those new Magic Inmune dragons, and it's pretty good. And this only makes it better :D
I think this card is fantastic. I am playing a Dragon Hunter deck now with some good success - sitting at rank 2 on the ladder currently. It does well vs. Rogues as it can be quite aggressive.
This card would be great on turn 5, as it can take out the inevitable 5 mana taunt. Plus, it's another Dragon with a great ability.
This is the card I'm most excited to try... too bad it's not being released for a bit.
Trump would point out that because of bundling costs this should cost 7 or 8. Yeah great card. Its just a question if Hunter can go this midrange and how many 1/1 tokens are being played.
2 days into experimentation with a tempo dragon hunter, this card is a complete hyper carry. If you can land this on curve against a well statted 4 or 5 drop like a shield of Galakrond or a twilight drake its game over. 5 star card, completely carries a very powerful aggro deck.
Would you mind sharing the decklist? That sounds interesting!
Of course!
The most cuttable cards I'd say is the secret package, though it is very powerful in its own right. Here's the decklist I've been running from rank 5 up to rank 2 at the moment.

Very cool card. I guess the one drawback relative to Deadly Shot is that you don't have as much mana to clean up the rest of the board if you're trying to isolate a minion for this effect.

And in hunter you want to play the dragons in hand, not keep them in hand, but balancing that is what makes the deck fun to me.

Very good, if not meta-defining. Makes Highlander Hunter even better.

Card is bonkers
Yeah probably what pushes dragon hunter into viability right here, the weapon was already insane just too difficult to keep supported.

Busted good for reno dragon hunter. A cheaper Highmane with Deadly Shot.

Great card for Highlander but sadly we are in a meta that are playing wide boards so for the time being it'll be shelved.

Insane tempo for 5 mana.
