Hi guys this is the deck i used in ladder and i had huge fun and great success,at least now in this unresolved meta.I had dropped hs completely for almost 3 months but the moment i saw gul'dans dk and his new toys i came right back in to try my most beloved deck ever, which is no other than handlock!

Guide

I tried many variations,i even tried some synergy with Corpsetaker but in the end one of the original versions worked best for me.I will write now the match ups, starting from those i faced the most to those i faced the least.

Evolve shaman(very favoured):Mulligan:Doomsayer,Twilight Drake,Defile,Hellfire. This is the match up i faced the most and for a good reason.Shaman is really strong against aggro and against control lists, however against so many effective aoes his floading is uselless.I kept Twisting Nether mostly for this match up since good players will keep those three 2/2 dudes and evolve them multiple times.Always keeping in mind the possible Bloodlust  damage and you can't really lose.Did i mention that Mountain Giant is ''immune''to Devolve?:P

Jade druid(very favoured):Mulligan: DoomsayerMountain Giant,Twilight Drake,Faceless Shambler.Play Doomsayer on turn 3 if you have the coin followed by fatties, watch them cry.If you don't have  the coin just go directly for a huge drake or giant on turn 4.The only way to lose this match up is to not draw any of the fatties by turn 4 or they Innervate crazy stuff, followed by card draw.Needless to say that i lost only once to a jade druid, who did exactly that. That 4/6 dude isn't necessary since the match is so favoured and if you do lose,it won't be because of Jade Idol.

The new Taunt/Swarm druid(very favoured):Mulligan and strategy exactly the same with jade druid.

Aggro Druid(very favoured):Mulligan Doomsayer,Defile,Hellfire,Drain Soul. You clear their board until they are out of cards, they play that mana thingy, you clear them again and they concede. The unfortunate thing is though that if your starting hand is uplayable which even with so many aoes can happen, you lose reaaaaally fast.

Zooish divine shield pala(favoured):Mulligan:Doomsayer,Twilight Drake,Defile,Hellfire,Spellbreaker.Again they try to establish board, you deny it.However all the paladins i faced run Skelemancer,so if they manage to establish a board and to play this,it's gg.Do not be afraid of Divine Favor because you can't play around it,just play your aoes as efficiently as possible and you will win.

Demonlock(Very favoured):Mulligan same with jade druid. You have giants and drakes, they have happy ghouls lol XD.

Miracle rogue(slightly unfavoured):Mulligan the same with jade druid. This match up comes down to whether they have the Edwin in starting hand.If they do,you propably lose.If not you kill them with giants before they react with their plants. However since they mulligan for Edwin, chances are slightly against you.

Value/Raza Priest(slightly favoured):Mulligan hard  for Twilight Drake and Faceless Shambler.Priest is no longer a pushover. He has the burn and value to fight back so you have to play drakes and copy them asap.

Control/Burn Mage(slightly unfavoured):Mulligan:Mountain Giant,Twilight Drake,Faceless Shambler.Try to play the fatties as fast as possible, however Primordial Glyph will propably give them the answers they need even if they don't have them in deck.If not however then it is an easy win.

Control Paladin(slightly Favoured):Mulligan:Same with jade druid. In this match up you have to create akward for them board states. For example having two 4/6 is enough. If you play two much stuff they can counter you with tarim and board clears.Generally you want to keep their side cleard and push 4 to 5 damage per turn past turn 5.If it goes to fatigue though then you will lose.

Secret Mage (unfavoured):Mulligan same with shaman. If you can efficiently check their secrets it's an easy win, however chances are that you won't be able to and you will have to play into them.A general advice is that if you can't check them efficiently, don't do it at all and play to your outs. For example if playing hellire is your only out, then do it even if it gets counterspelled.

Exodia mage(concede):Mulligan same with burn mage.Every deck has a hard counter, this is yours.Instead of putting garbage to your deck so you can gain 5% winratio in this match up,be a man,say greetings and concede.

Pirate warrior (very unfavoured):Mulligan same with aggro druid.I faced only 3 pirate warriors from rank 18 to rank 3.They get countered so hard by the popular decks, that i chose to completely f*ck the match up with the removal of protectors and Mistress of Mixtures in order to gain a even greater advantage to the other matches. If you somehow face them a lot,try a different list.

Hunter(Favoured?):Mulligan:same with shaman.I played only against 2 of them so i can't say for sure but both of them conceded after being aoed twice by turn 4.

Card choices

Bloodreaver Gul'dan vs Lord Jaraxxus.Lord j is better only against control warrior and value priest. In every other match up,the immetiade impact and healing potential of Bloodreaver Gul'dan is vastly superior.

Doomsayer:This guy becomes better with aoes and it's the mvp of the deck. This dude is played on empty board or after you aoe.His mission is to ensure initiative ,not to clear the board.

The Lich King:Ysera but one mana cheaper with taunt.Nuff said.If you however don't have him don't fret about it.Put alex/elise or any card you want.He is really good but not necessary.

Edit 19/8/2017 +The Black Knight-Dread Infernal.Everyone but pirates plays huge taunts now from aggro druid and murloc pally to big priest.

Q/A

-Why no protectors?Why no mistress?WTF!

As said in guide,i faced board centric decks.Almost all the aggresive decks i faced, fought for the board.Even when the dust settles i believe that midface shaman and palla will be the top dogs of the meta with druid close behind and all those decks win with their board, not with burn.If what you are facing is different from what i faced, then by all means play a different list. Moreover we don't have lord j in our list.Protectors were put in handlock list not only to fend off aggro but to taunt the infernals. Conclusion:No face decks and no lord j=no protectors.

-Will you push this deck to legend?

Propably not.I don't want to sound like hipster but i've reached legend enough times so it means absolutely nothing for me now.Since expansion's release i played only with handlock and i reached rank 3 with it,which is the milestone for legend(if you can reach rank 3,you can push it to legend). There are so many other decks i want to try atm.If however i get fed with those i might push this to legend in two weeks or so.

Edit 19/8/2017:I guess i can no longer push it to legend because i've already gotten there with

http://www.hearthpwn.com/decks/910659-legend-68-win-guldan-the-teddie-killer

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I'll continue update the deck  if it desperatelly needs it.Even though the pirates have unfortunately made a reappearance, they still remain kinda rare so the deck continues to perform very well.

-Do you have any stats for the deck?

Unfortunatelly i am a lazy ass and i haven't installed any deck trackers so no.If you guys know though any online site that keeps the match history(like lolking does for lol)then say so in the comments.

-Why should i play this complex shit instead of smorc and jades?S.M.O.R.C for life!Handlock sucks! You suck!Your mother was a murloc and you smell like a leper gnome!BOOOOOOOOOO!

Aaaand that's it.Go and play with gul'dan master of hellfire and summoner of giants and demons!MUAHAHAHAHAHA.This in order to put you in the mood.
