• Justicar Trueheart - Combos well with Sir Finley Mrrgglton, allowing you to pick up Tank Up which is insane in control mirrors, versus aggro the SUMMON TWO is good as it allows for efficient trades with Blessing of Kings.
• Emperor Thaurissan - Generates huge value if played on curve, as your hand only tends to empty towards the value/long game.
• Stonehill Defender - Paladin has so many high-value taunt minions, along with it blocked 4 damage in aggro matchup and filling out your curve.

•  it offers so much value in terms of both early and late game, and it offering an effective heal for 4 as a taunt is even better.
• Wickerflame Burnbristle - Good anti-aggro card, this deck already wins against control matchups and any additional anti-aggro is always welcome.
• Ivory Knigh - Both good against aggro as it offers a heal to survive and draw your Reno Jackson, and versus control it allows you to pick up more high value spells such as Spikeridged Steed and Lay on Hands

• Ragnaros the Firelord - Makes the deck a bit top heavy and could be easily substituted for some anti-aggro tools such as Spikeridged Steed.
• Elise Starseeker - Allows for an alternative win condition if in a control game you fall behind in the value game, we cannot unfortunately run Kazakus so this is the next best thing.

• Dr. Boom - although nice on paper, it makes the top end a big heavy, and a lot of times de-values your N'Zoth, the Corruptor. Replace Justicar Trueheart if you wish to play it.
• Elise the Trailblazer - offers some additional value, however it is generally less than Elise Starseeker and comes too early in the game to be used effectively. Possibly a card to experiment with but I am unconvinced. Replace Elise Starseeker if you want to play it.
• Medivh, the Guardian - Not enough high-cost spells exist for paladin are worth the generated token. Anyfin Can Happen is too many cards to include, and often times the token won't even be generated because the board is full. Replace Ragnaros the Firelord if you want to play it.
• Patches the Pirate - Insane combo with Bloodsail Corsair for a great opener and weapon removal, however this deck cannot capitalise very well on the board presence produced, so I cut it for more card draw. Replace Loot Hoarder and Acolyte of Pain of you want to play it.
