This is a midrange deck that rapidly cycles through it's deck and summons a massively buffed Soggoth using the following combo: The combo requires you to have only these 3 cards in your hand; you must play all other cards before attempting the combo. You need Brann, Don Hon'cho, and Soggoth. You play Brann and Don, and next turn play a Soggoth that is at least a 15/19, and if it was buffed earlier by other cards it will be even bigger. The only cards in the game that can kill it are equality or freeze + doomsayer etc... very few ways. A lot of deck are forced to concede against this play.
I'll explain how the deck engine works. You have 6 1 drops, 4 of them cycle, 2 of them heal your face. Small time Recruits pulls them out of your deck, giving you a huge hand size. All you need is 1 or 2 cards that scale with stats in your hand, such as Acolyte of Pain or Fight Promoter, even Argus is good, then go to town with your buff the hand cards. Keep drawing through your deck, play stats onto the board, taunt them up, then assemble the combo to seal the game. If you get stuck with extra cards that block up your combo, you will have to use Emperor Thaurisan to get your hand to exactly the 3 combo cards and have enough mana to play Brann and Don on the same turn with your only card in hand being Soggoth.
Wow -12 rating, is that a record?
Why all the hate? Seems pretty creative to me.
Cool Deck! Here's a match up video

Yep. A buddy of mine used his Black Knight on one of them giant soggoths
Interesting idea. :)
You might want to add a secondary win-condition if this deck gets popular (like if people start playing tech-cards against it) and for when you face decks that can answer the Soggoth. (if there will be any of those left)
Getaway Kodo is probably the most insane shit ever if you get to combo it with Soggoth, that way you can generate another Soggoth even if your opponent has a answer for the first. (and you can do that twice in control-matchups) :D
It's not the best idea to tout one minion in particular as the centerpiece of the deck, to be fair. That's like if I were to focus a deck around Poisoned Blade like I have before. Just doesn't work. I run Rhonin, Malygos, and Emperor Thaurissan in a deck, and my win condition is based around NOT having Rhonin stolen or silenced. The deck list is alright. People just don't want focus on a specific card often times.
The deck got such attention because he posted it in the forums. It got a bit of attention. Most people from what I could tell just listed off counters, and might have visited here to downvote. They're being honest, I suppose. I won't vote on the deck because I'm indifferent to the list.
Best of luck, dude.
"...no time for games"?
Agreed, I upvoted out of pity... the deck isn't terrible. It's a goony paladin deck with Soggoth for flavor. That's not worth negatives. Not sure if I'd play Smuggler's Run or the egg, but most everything else looks lovely. I doubt it'll be a tier 1 deck, but could easily play at tier 2 or even 1.5
It's because he used clickbait to get people to look at his forum thread.
BGH will always be an option for any class to counter this.
Thank you so much for the comment, I need help making this deck a thing. So in order to win against Twisting Nether with this deck you have to spam the board with other minions first to bait it. They might be forced to play it early if they are staring down a big board of buffed minions. You could run a Doppleganger or 2 to flood the board beforehand as bait. I might have to include those in the decklist, but even as is if you can hit with some medium sized bodies and hit those with a buffed Argus, they might be forced to blow their Twisting Nether on those instead.
Also as a side effect of the way we draw from minions, we end up with several expendable bodies that flood the board, and they will sometimes eat AOE spells.
hi interesting idea, i like it.
but at how many turns soonest do you think this can be pulled off ? because by turn 8 or so, a handlock may be able to Twisting Nether, or maybe try a sneaky Sylvanas Windrunner steal to indirectly eliminate it.
And you only have 1 copy and 1 chance to pull this off, and if they do manage to remove it, doesn't seem like theres a plan b.
would Faceless Manipulator be able to clone the card stats ? would that work? Also Enhance-o Mechano has a 1 in 3 chance for adding double strike to it.
Another observation since your running many 1ish cards, how about also adding a back up for board clear so that your soggoth doesn't have to fight through so many taunts. A Wild Pyromancer + Equality is a sure fire way to clear the board in preparation perhaps?
