Hello, (sorry for my english)
I've made this deck mainly in revenge of cancer decks that swarm in the current meta.
And it surprisingly works well too against midrange and control decks as it can win by fatigue. I'm not saying it beats every decks, because a such deck doesn't exists, but it has all the tools you need to perform against every decks.
I'm still trying to improve the deck, you can tell me what cards you think it's good to switch, but keep in mind heals and taunts are the core of the deck.
This deck is like the Chinese Wall, unbeatable vs aggro/face decks, and is still good vs Midrange/Control decks and current meta if you play it well (Pal Secret, Renolock, Freeze Mage,...).
You just have to put your taunts on the board as soon as you can,
then you clear the board with your removals and put your secrets. To finish, when it's time to heal yourself, you can recover something like 60HP or more.
Against Midrange and Control decks, you have to play differently :
you just have to play very slowly, by playing only 1 or 2 minions on your board,
then you will win by fatigue.
Bad match-up for me were :
1) Priest (not impossible but very difficult)
2) Secret Paladin (only when they have a perfect curve)
I'm still trying to improve the deck against control decks, without lose its main goal : 100% winrate vs aggro decks.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Update 1 (More reliability vs Midrange/Control)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
- Unstable Ghoul
- Deathlord
- Abomination
+ Jeweled Scarab
+ Coldlight Oracle
+ Ethereal Conjurer
With those changes, the deck is more like a Reno Fatigue Deck (to win vs control)
but there are still many taunts and heal, so aggro is still not a big deal.
You can also add Doomsayer + Frost Nova but I don't like to put this combo in my deck when there is only one copy.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Update 2 : Chinese Wall can now beat both Aggro and Control decks
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Say Goodbye
- Annoy-o-Tron
This card was good against face decks but you can deal without it easily due to the amount of heal and taunts you already have.
- Arcane Intellect
There is enough draw with Jeweled Scarab + Mad Scientist + Coldlight Oracle + Duplicate + Ethereal Conjurer. Plus, against control decks, you don't want to overdraw because of Duplicate and fatigue win condition.
- Earthen Ring Farseer
Same reason as Ice Barrier.
- Ice Barrier
Three secrets was not worth it with only one Mad Scientist, and there is enough heal in the deck : Illuminator + Refreshment Vendor + Antique Healbot + Reno Jackson (with the help of Youthful Brewmaster and Brann Bronzebeard).
- Kezan Mystic
I had put it in the deck mainly to counter opponent's Kezan. Just funny, but it doesn't happen so often.
- Alexstrasza
This card was not very important in this deck since there is enough heal and 9 mana just makes you lose your turn.
Say Hello
+ Doomsayer
You can put in on turn 2 against aggro decks, or more later against midrange and control decks, preferably with Blizzard or some taunts if the board becomes scary.
+ Youthful Brewmaster
Versatile card which can allow you to Reno Jackson twice, the targets in this decks are many. Against warlock, you usually want to target your own Big Game Hunter with it instead of healing cards.
+ Deathlord
He is back in the deck because I removed Annoy-o-Tron and Earthen Ring Farseer. Moreover, as you need to win by fatigue against midrange/control decks, this card deserves its place in the deck.
+ Mind Control Tech
Very good against zoo decks, as well as midrange decks. It always surprises the opponent, and it helps you to win by fatigue. Plus, you can steal 2 minions with Brann Bronzebeard.
+ Animated Armor
This card is a must have when you are going for fatigue. You will receive only 1 damage each turn during fatigue phase. It can also prevent you from dying against aggro face if he has no board.
+ Flame Lance
It's like a second Big Game Hunter in your deck, it costs more mana, doesn't make board, but you can remove a scary minion which has less than 7 attack and which can't die with Flamestrike. Best targets are : Deathlord, Archmage Antonidas, Mysterious Challenger, Doomguard, Twilight Drake, Feugen, Chromaggus, Kel'Thuzad. But you can also use it to kill a disturbing Druid of the Claw or any 5-6 health cards if you are in trouble.

(02/17/16) Update 3 : Chinese Wall : More TAUNTS and VALUE cards
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I needed to rebalance the deck so it deserves its name against very aggro face decks.
I removed from the deck all the cards which were not essential.
I added value taunts instead of those cards because they are less situational and they can stop opponent aggression (vs face), they can reduce his board (vs midrange/zoo), to stall the game before you draw Reno Jackson (vs face) or Flamestrike and Blizzard (vs Midrange/zoo).
To win vs control decks, you must not overextend your board, only 2-3 minions are good enough.
- Doomsayer
- Explosive Sheep
- Jeweled Scarab
- Youthful Brewmaster
- Brann Bronzebeard
- Coldlight Oracle
- Illuminator
- Mind Control Tech
- Animated Armor
- Refreshment Vendor
- Flame Lance
+ Annoy-o-Tron
+ Flamecannon
+ Unstable Ghoul
+ Acolyte of Pain
+ Arcane Intellect
+ Fireball
+ Water Elemental
+ Abomination
+ Emperor Thaurissan
+ Dr. Boom
+ Ysera
this deck has no win condition vs other control decks
you just auto lose vs warrior and priest
auto lose vs secret paladin
the only people you can reliably beat are the rank 16+ face shamans and hunters, congrats, i guess
i know some people who know you still pee your pants at night, so i guess this internet is not for you
post one replay where you win vs. a control warrior or priest via fatigue, Good luck with 1x Polymorph vs Ysera + Grommash + Ragnaros + Dr. Boom + Baron Geddon late game, in any particular order, you get melted away.
You can shove your frost nova Doomsayer up your ass when you got no burst to finish them off.
I just this second spectated my mate against a control warrior. It was near fatigue and he had Reno, medivh, youthful brewmaster and animated armor, along with about 6 other cards left. He ended up winning simply by triple-playing Reno during fatigue with some unclearable minions on board.
So it does happen..
:D ?
Haha thanks a bunch :D ! That's great glad you enjoyed though! No problemo :p !
I want to share my experiences with this deck on rank ~10 currently with around 40 matches.
My winrate against control decks is probably double as high as against SMOrc decks. I guess I win 60% of control machtups and 30% of aggro machtups. I even won against Handlock with Jaraxxus in lategame due to the insane amout of heal.
To actually heal up you need cards. If you don't have them, you lose. So even if I have Reno in my starting hand I still lose against cancer decks before turn 5. But this deck has no card draw so it is pretty frustrating if you don't get a heal.
Many cards in this deck only work in a combo. If you are missing one card the effect is much weaker. For example:
Doomsayer + Blizzard Doomsayer is a dead card in 95% of the matches. It is only playable if you have it in the first 3 turns against cancer decks. Otherwise it is always a dead draw. In almost every match. Furthermore you have only 2 other targets in your decks that are worth silencing for. Sunwalker + Sludge Belcher. Everytime I played Doomsayer early, it got silenced by owl. So the card is almost always a dead draw in most games, because you cannot protect it. To play Doomsayer behind a taunt you actually need mana and vs aggro decks you are dead in turn 5 anyway.
Brann Bronzebeard + any of your battlecry minions. Which are mainly Antique Healbot + Refreshment Vendor + Coldlight Oracle + Ethereal Conjurer. If you don't have Brann in your starting hand, you cannot abuse this mechanic because you are forced to play 2-3 of these cards before you get Brann in your hand.
The main problem with this deck is that you will NEVER have board control until turn 7 or 8, after a flamestrike or something. And cards like Doomsayer + Illuminator + Animated Armor + Brann Bronzebeard need protection to stay alive, because they are very weak on their own. Most of the time get traded or killed before you play a taunt next turn to protect them. I would definitely cut Doomsayer in this deck, because without freeze this card is just useless.
Overall a pretty nice deck, losing the fatigue war is almost impossible, if you can survive the huge threats and combos earlier.
Great deck! I loved the playing experience it provides, got similar deck built by myself before.
Played 17 games with it, 4 in play mode, 13 on the ladder. Went 12-5 so far, losses being to extreme aggro, bad draw and shadow priest.
Games are very fun, Brann combos are very satisfying, overall - very enjoyable and potent. Thanks for posting!
Why doomsayer and no frost nova?
in my oppoinion: as you see, you can play minions in every turn (if you're lucky) (not like in freeze mage) , but if you're not you can save one turn for yourself when you play (in the early game) a doomsayer (most of the time the opponent will just use his/her hero power than pass) thats why i think.
sorry my english is not the best
I can understand you pretty well, thanks!
if i wanted to add an unstable portal what would i replace? thanks
swapped it for jeweled scarab
I also think elise for refreshment vendor would do well
Nice deck have you considered mirror entity for earthern ring farseer? I tried this and found i usually got a stronger minion as you can save it for the late game and that the heal 3 wasnt as necessary with healbot and reno
Does this deck struggle more in the early or midgame? I think if its early then you are right to play earthen ring but if midgame, like turns 4-7, is harder then mirror entity or polymorph boar is better. Seriously wondering as this deck is actually damn fun to play when people dont expect a lot of the tech choices made
Will definitely try this out. Looks promising.
+1 for being one of the few people using this game to be creative
RIP Aggro Shaman
RIP Face Hunter
RIP Face Paladin
RIP Aggro Druid
RIP Combo Druid
RIP Face Rogue
RIP Zoolock
Thanks for posting and all, but I am more interested in decks that beat:
Secret Paladin, RenoLock, TempoMage, Patron, and pesky control priests (good job if it beats combo druid, that's a heavily played deck)
Making a deck that beats aggro in not that hard. It's the control matches that are the tough ones once you get into single digits of rank....
