Miracle Rogue was first created by a player name Sveno. He created the deck before Hearthstone was even playable. Then sometime later after balance changes, a guy that went my the name of Travis built it again, and that is the original post on Hearthpwn. Then, it was nerfed again. After that, a very popular player named Kolento remade the deck in the summer of 2014. Finally, miracle rogue was nerfed again. The nerfs to both Gadgetzan Auctioneer and Leeroy Jenkinskilled the deck.

Kolento Miracle
Testing this out replacing Vancleef with a Vanish, so far its worked wonders vs zoo and handlock.
thats brilliant
I'm currently building this deck and i got most of the cards (currently missing 2 Preparation, Edwin VanCleef and Bloodmage Thalnos) and to anyone who might be doing the same I would like to leave a warning.
This deck focus greatly on drawing the Gadgetzan Auctioneer so you can cicle through the deck. Now I've done some math and according to my calculations (wich can be wrong but I don't believe they are) there is a only 56,31% chance that one of the Gadgetzan Auctioneer will be in your hand by turn ten (not acounting for mulligan and card drawing cards like Shiv and Acolyte of Pain). If that doesn't happen (43,69% of the time it won't) you are left in a very though spot from wich your only salvation is drawing an Edwin VanCleef/Questing Adventurer if you can't afford Ed. If you have neither one of these cards it can be quite though to win since you're basically searching for a miracle with little card draw.
Just take that in mind.
Edit: Just for fun I calculated the chances of not having both Edwin VanCleef and one of the Gadgetzan Auctioneer by turn 10 and i came up with 29,09% so yeah this deck appears capable of achieving its combo.
Yeah my math was a bit off i noticed the mistake now.
First card: 28/30
Second card: 27/29
Third card: 26/28
And so on and so on. That gives us a 19,31% on turn 1 without mulligan and a 56,32 of drawing it by turn ten without mulligan at the beggining or other forms of card draw (of drawing one of the auctioneers). I still feel like 43,78% of not having your main combo by turn 10 is still a bit unstable though. (hope my math is correct this time xD)
Edit: shit my math's of again xD It's 64,83% of drawing the auctioneer by turn 10.
I think you might want to take some stats courses before throwing out numbers like this.
The classic. You'll probably never lose if you play this deck. Probably.
I've played with Van Cleef and without him and honestly I like the deck better without him. I haven't really been in a situation where I liked him in my hand. Usually the way it goes for me is a turn 4 6/6 or 8/8 who ends up getting slapped somehow, which means i'm three cards down, two of those being potential Auctioneer fodder. Granted I'm playing around rank 15, which has its own meta it seems, but still, it seems like Vancleef makes the deck clunky.
I don't think earthen is really the best choice due to the fact this deck is built around drawing more low cost cards to play.
I would recommend putting in a Big Game Hunter or Earthen Ring Farseer in place of Acolyte of Pain
Sap is for what BGH would be for. ERFS works fine though.
Aw,I was able to fill them all out in the deck..besides PREPERATION. Any substitute for it?
I'm so frustrated with this deck. I think I just caught a bad section of the ladder. (rank 13).. AND HORRRRRIBLE DRAWS... but I just lost 6 straight...
ok, nevermind the previous comment. I'm back on a win streak, and just slaughtered an ice mage with a 14/14 vancleef on turn 6.
Maybe you just dont know how to play this deck. Save Gadgetzan and go crazy with spells
I have never heard of such a noob.
The rating on your comments shows your ignorance. Also do you even play hearthstone or are you just here to troll.
Legendary replacements:
Edwin VanCleef: Either Questing Adventurer, which is closer to EV, or Mana Addict, which plays very well with Miracle, if it can live for one turn.
Leeroy Jenkins: Leeroy doesn't have that great of a replacement, but an Arcane Golem is the next best thing. Try not to use it unless it's to finish (as intended) it's Turn 9+, or in absolute desperation. You can also try a Wolfrider as well, as it's one less mana, but one less attack, too. That extra mana crystal could net you an extra card to play though.
Bloodmage Thalnos: Bloodmage is just a clone of Novice Engineer/Loot Hoarder and Kobold Geomancer, so pick one of those. I will say that the spell damage is NOT to be ignored/taken lightly! It helps a ton, but so does card draw, so choose wisely!
Arcane Golem isn't good enough as a replacement, you lose 2 damage every shadowstep and that's critical.
God bless the folks that can pilot this deck. I for one, cannot do so.
this is the realest thing i ever read
It can either win or lose big, beat the best of decks or lose to the worst of decks, there's no medium. If you can't draw the right cards, it is very difficult. Just played a match with this deck recently where I couldn't draw neither of my 2 Auctioneers for 10 turns straight even after using my spells that draw cards.
