Hearthpwn

The aim of the deck is to combine control skills of the Priest (during the mid/late game) with tempo style (during the early game).

The deck is inspired by:

Replacements

• Wild Pyromancer instead of Shrinkmeister, because Pyro in combination with Power Word: Shield is better against aggro-rush decks.
• Gilblin Stalker instead of Shadow Word: Death, because it increases the tempo a lot. The 2/3 body on turn 2 and 2/4 buff from Velen's Chosen is an insane tempo play. You literally can deal with every possible threat for 2-3 turns. It's bad when played against Freezing Trap, so don't buff the Stalker if you don't have another minion on the board to activate the trap (like Zombie Chow or Northshire Cleric).
• Deathlord instead of Dark Cultist, because of face hunters. That's the whole reason.
• Sen'jin Shieldmasta instead of Piloted Shredder, because it saves some health for you, so you will not die that soon :) Though this replacement decreases your tempo a bit, because Shredder is one the best 4-mana tempo card in the game right now.
• Acidic Swamp Ooze instead of Harrison Jones, because I simply don't own this card. Also Ooze extends your early-game options. It's debatable, which one is preferred, because we already have three 5-drops and another one is not good in case we don't have Emperor Thaurissan.
• Kel'Thuzad instead of Ysera, also because I don't own it. Ysera is a must in this deck, but sadly I have to find comparable replacement for it. I don't want any creature with 7 or more attack (because of Big Game Hunter, so Dr. Boom or Ragnaros the Firelord should not be taken into account). My first choice was Chromaggus, because it does similar thing as Ysera -- it draws cards. But Kel'Thuzad is better here, because unlike Chromaggus it gives you the ability to take the control of the board (if you have 2 minions and opponent has 3-4) or to come back, if you have only Sludge Belcher. Of course, this is situational card, but I can't find better one (I wish I had Ysera).

Generally this deck is nice, at least it's one of my best Priest decks. It lacks some cards, like Ysera and maybe Light of the Naaru. However I've reached the rank 5 (during late June) with this deck in 4 days, so it seems to be a good start for reaching the legend with Priest :)

Statistics

I played around 65-70 matches with average win-rate 60%. When I start game with The Coin my win-rate is 71% comparing to 33% without coin.
