Update 1: As I feared, the deck flounders a bit in the mid-game if you haven't already won with early murlocs. To help mediate this, I've now removed Magicfin and Wriggling Horror and added 2 Voracious Readers, which has helped reload on cards in the mid-game.
The C'Thun Pieces can sometimes get in the way with emptying your had for the Readers, but even drawing 1 card vs top-decking a Wriggling Horror feels much better. And so far just having health buffs from Coldlight Seer has felt good enough even without the Wriggling Horror.

OK OK! I know this seems like a bazar combination, but just hear me out:---
The majority of this deck is dedicated to early game murlocs to fight for the board, and potentially just win by going full agro.
There are some powerful turns you can take with cards like
Lightning Bloom + Firemancer Flurgl + murlocs
or
Lightning Bloom + Nofin Can Stop Us.
However, there are some control matchups like Warlock that will be able to just clear all your murlocs. That's why this deck has a secondary win condition that also lets you transition to a more late game value playstyle. C'Thun, the Shattered will give you 4 decent control cards that will work toward a big game finisher if your murlocs run out of steam. Primordial Protector is able to not only tutor out your C'Thun peices, but also generate a 5 mana minion for tempo. And this late-game playstyle can be achieved by simply dedicating 3 cards to a non-aggressive game plan.
There are also cards included that are flexible at any stage of the game. In the early game Primordial Studies can find you a Novice Zapper or Lady Vashj, or in the late game you can try to find Steward of Scrolls.
Instructor Fireheart can be used as a finisher or a way to swing the board back in your favor.
Magicfin is situational, but can also reload your hand with a few potential Legendaries.
And then of course there is the new Kazakus, Golem Shaper who can fit any role, and was the reason I wanted to build a Murloc deck in the first place lol
There's even some upside with Eye of C'Thun giving you another finisher in an agro scenario!
It may seem odd, but I think this has some potential :)
I played around with this deck but ended up losing hard against Warlock and Priest. If you're looking for a more control/late-game type Shaman deck, I'd highly recommend trying this one out!
I see, I can certainly appreciate a Control/Late Game Shaman deck so I might try something like this out at Some point. Currently experimenting with weapons combo list.
That all said, this deck's game plan is to be mostly aggro, with some late game potential if the murlocs run out of steam. If Warlock continues to be popular then this deck might not do so well for people, but if the meta shifts away from Warlock I think this deck is solid against the other classes :)
Been playing this deck and having pretty good results. However, I just got absolutely rekt by a control warlock, but that seems to be one of the only weak points
Yep, removal + Soul Shard healing + Jaraxxus + Tickatus has been a problem for this deck to deal with. Still, glad to hear you've been having good results :)
I'm playing at low rankings atm, but i play for fun so don't really choose competitive decks. this actually appears to be working, and i didn't think it would. I'm 8 wins 0 losses atm. also a lot of fun to play. cheers man
Oh awesome to hear! I've been having a bit of trouble using this deck against Warlocks because of how much value Jaraxxus has, but overall it performs pretty decent, and is indeed fun to play :)
I think I want to take this concept and try elementals with Lilypad lurker. But awesome concept and cool idea for sure!
Oh yeah for sure. I had the same idea, made a deck list for an Elemental version on this same concept. Doesn't seems to be as popular as this murloc version though lol
I am playing this deck right now and I am quite even on legend rank with it. I don't have second protector and switched it out for that weapon that gives 1+1 after attacking to give a little aggro boost. I must say that in all my games (maybe 8-10) I have never used cthun neither played the protector, because either I get crushed by people that have good removal early. then it doesn't seem to have enough draw to get to your lategame potential with cthun but I will try it out a bit longer... Kazakus is really handy in this deck, can buff your minions or draw you a lot and on curve turn 4 its incredible tempo... so all in all cool deck, will see how we have to adjust a little more :)
Thanks for the feedback! Yeah the lack of card draw was something I was worried about, I originally wanted to add Voracious Readers to the deck but couldn't find the room. I might cut Magicfin and maybe the Wriggling Horror for 2 Readers.
Looks interesting. Will give it a go at Diamond 4.
Hi there, I thought I replied to this message earlier but I guess it never went through, odd.
I originally said that I was at Diamond 5 at the time, and actually managed to claw my way to Legend the morning of the 31st! XD
Thought I made a comment earlier but I guess it didn't go through. I said that I was excited about this deck and it looked very fun and interesting. Coming back to this post was to give an update. Hearthstone allowed me to queue for a little bit in the last hour and I went 4-0! 2 wins versus Libram Paladin, 1 versus Control Warrior, and 1 versus some sort of spell/control priest. Playing at Diamond 5 right now. The game isn't allowing me to queue anymore but I'll definitely keep playing with the deck. Had a lot of fun. Though the C'Thun cards can feel clunky at times, since the deck is primarily aggressive, they surprisingly helped me out in a few of the games. Super cool deck.
Oh that's awesome to hear! I'm currently at Diamond 5 as well, though I'm playing Druid first. Glad to hear this deck is performing well for you :D
Really interesting deck, nice job! I'm excited to try this out.
Thank you^^, I'm curious how well it will work myself! My main worry is that it doesn't have enough card draw, so I may end up replacing the Magicfin with a Voracious Reader, possibly 2 copies.
