Hello everyone,
I'm Olwen, a priest only player, and here is my try at building a list including the new cards from the Darkmoon Faire extension.
I tried some lists, some cards this evening, and almost all of them felt bad/non consistent lists.
Then I found this list : https://www.hearthpwn.com/decks/1370945-highlander-priest-with-galakrond-cthun-nzoth created by Janisary.
I tried a few games with it and this archetype seemed strong enough. However, I decided to make some changes to this version, because while I liked the adding of the two old gods "win condition" to the highlander archetype, I believe playing the galakrond synergy aswell is too greedy/not needed.
That's why I decided to cut all this package, and substitute it by other cards, such as the Wild Pyromancer + Penance combo, Breath of the Infinite, the two shadow words, more dragon synergy cards etc...
I climbed from 5800 Legend to 3800 this evening with this list, with 92 % winrate. ( It's actually a bit higher, since 1 win against a druid wasn't recorded, the game crashed after he used Yogg Saron's wheel lol )
Possible substitutes/interesting cards :
Mindrender Illucia : I've faced quite a lot of OTK lists ( druid, dh, even a shaman one lol ) and I tried a version with it, felt decent. ( Reducing her cost with Insight or Nazmani is pretty strong aswell )
Vulpera Scoundrel : Good synergy overall
Plague of Death : good answer against other midrange/late lists
EVIL Conscripter : decent early minion
Forbidden Words : Good removal
Wretched Tutor : Good against aggro, combo with Apotheosis
Maybe I don't fully understand the potential of the card, but the tests I did with Yogg-Saron, Master of Fate were not conclusive, and I believe it might be too heavy in my list that already has a few 8+ mana cards to play.

⚠️ Small advice/warning : This list includes many legendaries, and keep in mind that we are only at the beginning of a new extension. What I mean to say is that I created this list with my own collection, I have fun with it and I even got a lucky winstreak in legend rank with it, the highest i went was 17-1. But after that I started losing some games, and I'm currently trying to improve it, cutting some greedy cards ( I'm not even sure that I'll keep every legendary in there ). So, if you feel like trying the list, don't rush into spending all your dust on it, you can ask for substitutes in comments and I'll gladly give you some advice. :)
One of the pros of the highlander archetype, is that changing cards is rather "easy", and even the ones with unique effects can be changed without "throwing" the list ( obviously, Zephrys the Great and Dragonqueen Alexstrasza are kind of mandatory though ), you can take out one late game value card to play an early game one that will be better against aggro mu and so on.

This Deck is autopilot win for DH. No doubt dude, no doubt. 100% GG.
With the packs that I got, I ended up with a golden N’Zoth and Nameless One, so I crafted my Soul Mirror and Murazond, because I missed playing Priest. Where I’m at in Gold ranks, this deck has been a blast to play - and pretty successful for now. Aggro lists are tricky, but definitely doable. The flexibility you have and the value that you can generate with this deck makes a huge difference, and as long as you aren’t flooding on 8+ cost draws on the front end it goes fine.
The really fun one last night was against a control warlock list. The opponent burned two of the C’thun pieces, so that big line was out. I kept dumping big minions, and so did the opponent, and we kept beating each other down until we were both out of deck to draw. Once I got the lock to blow both Twisting Nether’s, I dropped N’Zoth and gave an instant board. I was skeptical that I would be able to keep up with the value and resources of a list like that... but I did!

Hello, as whisperoflov mentionned, don't hesitate to make some changes, it's been a long time since I played a Doomsayer in my priest lists, but it's still a good card that could fit this highlander archetype.
Aggro lists are hard to beat for you, you'll probably never comeback from a single "dead" turn early with it, unless you have a good zephrys to play. Some MU are especially hard for priest ( not only highlander ) zoolock discard and shaman totem/evolve are probably the mu you don't want to meet, along with DH lists.
I like this deck a lot but I haven't had a chance to play c'thun once. By the time you've assembled him, you've already won or lost. The N'zoth Menagerie Resurrections seems to be the strongest aspect while drawing 5 cost spells slows things down too much.

well I never had the chance to play him aswell, so it's a good idea to consider the impact of C'htun on this list. I feel like the 4 spells are good cards, the 3 dmg aoe spell is not slow against aggro, it's often a good draw in my opinion. The "deal 7 dmg" spell is one of the only card for priest to deal dmg to your opponent's face from your hand, and the other 2 are more situationnal, sometimes too slow indeed.
I agree with you that N'zoth is more useful and reliable to win games, but I don't know, I often like drawing the chtun spells in midgame that are sometimes great answers to take board control, I need to play more games with the list to really understand what is good and what isn't in there. :p

Is yogg a good replacement for Murozond?
Hello OneM00reTime, yes I think it's a decent sub, you take out one lategame value card to replace it by another lategame value card, I've actually been trying to play Yogg this evening and the list as shown above can get the 10 spells condition done without too much trouble !
I don't know if it's the best substitute ( i went as high as 17-1 with my list, but around 3000 legend, I started to lose some games and I'm trying new things ) since the list might need less greedy cards to become more stable, but I still think Yogg remains a good sub.

Missing C'Thun, the Shattered, Murozond the Infinite, Soul Mirror but have a ton of dust... any good replacements or should i go crazy on crafting all this?

well it's really up to you. My advice is the following one :
If you like the priest class, Soul Mirror is a good craft, not only for highlander, but for every existing priest archetype in standard meta at the moment ( maybe not priest res though ), its unique effect is pretty strong and one of the best answers to any threatening board from turn 7 and later in every game.
Murozond the Infinite on the other hand is much less needed in your collection in my opinion. It's a "good" card and it's really helpful against certain matchups, it's a dragon, etc... but it's quite a situationnal card, and it's not as strong as many other legendaries ( neutral or from other classes ) that you might feel like crafting for other lists too.
Concerning C'Thun, the Shattered it's a bit too soon to really understand how good/bad it is. I personally like this card, and I think the spells you get from him are good cards for many control/lategame lists, but if the meta goes full aggro, the card probably will be hard to play.
Knowing all this, what I would recommend to you if you want to try my list : you can start by crafting soul mirror because this card will be useful even in next metas ( it was released in 2020 April expansion, which means it'll stay in standard up to april 2022 if I'm not mistaken ). You can try the list with soul mirror and 2 other cards than those legendaries, like a weapon breaking card, more aoe/removal tools, and if you like playing it, then maybe you can start thinking about crafting them, but there is no need to craft all 3 of them to try it. :)

Then again, 5000ish legend ranks is not really high elo, so I assume I met less tryharding meta slave players that play DH, but I did meet one with another list yesterday, he dealt 16 dmg to my face with his 2/2 lifesteal weapon and the new broken legendary, it wasn't a fun game... :')
Ouch that is rough! Ladder in EU at ranks 2 and 3 seem to be full of them... I cannot comprehend that Blizzard thought DH should get some more burst tools..

Well I wish you good luck, I'm currently 15-1 with my list, and of course I probably got lucky with my draws in a game or two, but I feel like this archetype is quite strong at the moment, some combos even seem a bit broken to me lol. I'm thinking about the two new neutral cards, Fleethoof Pearltusk and Claw Machine. The first one, when corrupted, allows you to heal for 10 when played with Apotheosis and the drawing effect of the mech card is really interesting. If you played the beast in his corrupted version, it'll spawn back as a 8/8 rush with N'Zoth, God of the Deep
After I read your first comment, I started playing today, and I met 2 dh in a row lol, the two of them were playing the OTK list with the new legendary, I won both games, but the second one was quite close.
I don't remember if he dealt 28 or 29 dmg in one turn from his hand, but I had pyromancer and apotheose to heal back, he conceded right after. ( And I misplayed this btw, I played Onyxia last turn when it would have been safer to play Queen alexstraza, it was turn 9 and I wasn't expecting the full combo so early, first time I saw it )
