Although it might seem like your average aggro deck (although it kinda is), it is mostly based on being a token deck. The goal is to flood the board over and over again until you can eventually buff your minions with Level Up! or Quartermaster.

There is also some Divine Shield synergy with Steward of Darkshire and Rallying Blade.

The deck is not really meant to be an aggressive deck at first. It instead has more late-game potential with Stand Against Darkness and sometimes even your Warhorse Trainer A.K.A Raid Leader with +2 health.

 Bolvar Fordragon is definitely not a required card for this deck. But if your opponent eventually has ran out of answers for your armies of 1/1's then this guy might be able to pack-a-punch.
