This Buff Priest deck takes a simpler approach to winning. Instead of intricate combos, play lots of high health minions, buff them up with Extra Arms and Divine Spirit, and then finish them off with Inner Fire! Eternal Servitude is an interesting inclusion that has great synergy with Injured Blademaster and Witchwood Grizzly. Guard1019 from the Asia server flexed their muscles for a 66.3% winrate with this deck.
think you could break that down for us lol
So first of all I had coin and without it would not have been possible.
My starting hand was 1x Radiant Element, 1x Cleric, 1x Inner Fire, 1x divine spirit, 1x power word shield.
Turn 1: -> Radient Element(2/3), Power word shield(2/5), second Divine spirit drawn
Turn 2: -> 2nd Radient Element drawn and played, double divine spirit on the first RE(2/20) and Inner Fire (20/20)
-> Concede
This was really fun to play +1. I like the variation you've made of the usual inner fire/divine spirit deck. Bringing back witchwood grizzly with eternal servitude is very strong. I made a video if anyone is interested, thanks.
Yes, I do
Would Lyra the Sunshard be a good substitute for Shadow Visions? I'm also thinking of adding a Dragon Soul to the deck given the number of cheap spells here.
Shadow Visions is hands down one of the best cards in priest right now and it's effect can't really be replaced. Putting in Lyra would make the deck slower and it doesn't really fit into the theme of getting a high health creature to stick to then divine spirit + inner fire. Dragon soul is also a bit too slow for the deck, especially without shadow visions. It's a fun card and all, but I don't think it would fit well in a deck like this.
If you don't have a shadow visions, I'd either replace them with 2 topsy turvies to act as a pseudo-inner fire or perhaps binding heal just to make sure you can survive for longer.
Good point. I ran the deck with those two cards and without Shadow Visions, and ended up getting absolutely plastered because I had to wait to pull off combos. I guess I'll craft the card.
I think Damaged Stegotron is also pretty good. Especially for Eternal Servitude
Some expensive upgrades? I have a lot of stuff but everything seems useless in this meta...
PS.: Congrats for the mention in the HearthPwn post!
I don't have the second Shadow Visions so I just subbed in Zerek, Master Cloner because I have him and nowhere to use him
EDIT: Zerek is useless here, I added a Topsy Turvy
If you can scrounge up dust, craft a second Shadow Visions. The card is so important in almost every version of Priest.
