Well i will play lots of thug life rogue wether its good or not it seems like a fun deck! just so many bad decks whe can finally make with this new expansion Kappa
I love it, nice inclusion in an Elise Warrior, as a one of. Recycle the card as a random legendary against matches where the card is useless, and it should be good against aggro. I'm thinking if a Shaman has a board with maybe a 3/4, a 7/7, and a couple of 0 attack totems, as long as they don't have doomhammer or flametongue it could save you from taking damage one turn, two if you're very lucky, allow you to trigger execute... Question is, does this card make Bolster playable? It's a devastating combo against zoo, whereas the 1/1 taunts alone might not do enough. Keep up with Noxious and Kripp, I'm sure we'll see them giving it a try.

Reminds me of a game we played at college parties that we called "Mr. President." At some point someone raising a finger to their ear like they are CIA getting an important msg and then everyone does it til the last one. When only one person is left everyone would yell MR PRESIDENT and tackle them.

This and two bolsters against zoo is 7 bodies with 5\5 with taunt????? Omg.

Oh boy, now i can fill the board to beat all those pesky ZOO minions... wait that's a knife juggler, stop plz, no... and there went my my 1/1s. Really though by turn 3 if you compare this card to ZOO, ZOO has a 1 mana 3/2 and a 1 mana 1/3 with taunt. Two minions alone whose value is much higher than this card. By the time you are able to play this card for value ZOO already has board control and is life tapping to keep it. If they lose board control they just leave. Yea the bolster combo is a great concept but if you don't mulligan this combo and live to turn 5 to use it then i don't see it working. The odds just aren't there. Then if you do use Protect the King before drawing Bolster, Isn't it like having a useless 2 mana spell at that point? Also with only 30 cards allowed in a deck, what would someone be willing to replace for this card or combo? I'm hoping this card is awesome and i see that it can have potential, but the odds/values just aren't there. I mean come on, druids are getting a 1 mana 2/2 beat lol!!!!
You are looking at this card like it will be replacing another card in control warrior or what not. But really I can see an actual taunt warrior coming from this using bolster as long as a few more good taunt cards come into play. It ultimately feels very powerful if a taunt warrior can get more taunts in the game
THANK YOU! I think this card is real bad, and almost no one agrees.
This is card is only playable against like three decks. You need 4+ minions to get value even with combo. So only Midrange Hunter, Zoo Warlock, and Midrange Shaman have consistently 4+ minions on the board. If those decks have 4+ minions on the board on turn 5 when you can play this and bolster that usually means you are losing badly to one of the strongest aggressive decks in the meta.
So this card is only playable if you are losing horribly to specifically one of the three decks and have bolster, another card that is not terribly useful most of the time, in your hand.

Well thats the problem, "if a taunt warrior can get more taunts in the game." Taunts as of right now are weak. People can flood the board with 3/2s, 1/3s, 2/2s, that all cost less and have more value than a 2-3 cost taunt. So you are putting one minion out to counter a stronger minion of lesser mana value. When this happens you are slowly being put behind your opponent and you can't keep minions on the board to combo bolster. A 3/3 3 mana cost taunt combed with bolster on turn 5 means you have a 5/5 taunt on turn 5. If you are lucky enough to combo this with another taunt then MAYBE it's value is worth it. BUUUUUT seeing how a knife juggler can passively weaken a minion, power overwhelming on a 1/1 is 5/5 so there goes your 5/5 taunt, or since we are talking turn 5 Doom Guard can be played to remove your 5/5 combo taunt and can still remain on the board as a 5/2 while everything else can hit your face. ALSO take note that Protect the King increases minion count on the board so an 8/8 Sea Giant becomes higher value in a Zoolock deck. 4 3/3 taunts vs 4 low cost strong minions, a free Sea Giant and probably 1 other low cost minion played on the same turn for the Zoo, no thank you sir.
It may be good combo with Frothing Berserker, I mean it can make him survive a whole turn and if the opponent kills your new minions, it will get +2 attack for each (damage done to and dealt by the peons).
maybe they tested it and it felt too OP being a 2 mana card
Good point, you lose the instant reward with this unlike Unleash the Hounds.
I think this could be a one-of in the current control warrior lists. its a good stall tool for early game aggression, and just adds another option to control warriors to run the opponent down of legitimate cards to play. bolster warrior has been experimented with, and the womb combo dream of this card could make the archetype work. i see bolster warrior being akin to the current midrange warrior (tempo warrior), and might be viable enough to surpass that deck in the meta with this card. its a stretch to call it meta-defining, but its certainly playable in a few contexts, and i think it will see tons of use in the current warrior-driven meta.
not really, 3x 3/3 for 5 is quite good, even 2x 3/3 for 5 is "playable"
