also keep in mind that if your 2 drops are in your hand (so you can have a couple), you can still play it with battle cry. Also, would rock if they made support cards, e.g. a 1 cost 1/1 (draw a 2 mana card from your deck).
turn 5 with bran in wild?
Could be a fair replacement for Power of the Wild and Mark of Y'Shaarj in aggro druids, replace Rockpool Hunter and Hydrologist in Murloc paladins (Assuming there will be extra good cards in the expansion to replace the other 3 cards), and be playable in Warlock decks (But we still have to wait to see which warlock archtypes will be viable to play). Also great synergy with the Hunter's Quest. Overall seems like it won't be used in the meta but it depends on the new cards that will be released.
This is one of those intresting cards which people think is amazing, and will turn out to be one of the worst cards of the expansion.
Here's why:
- When you play it, its only a 2mana 2-2. Too slow pherharps.
- It also requires you to draw it to play it. You will draw this card about half of your games. When its in the borrom of your deck, its useless.
- It only buffs the minions in your deck. And most of the decks dont have too many minions. (Surprisingly)
-In case you do have many minions in your deck (like Zoolock), you probably gonna need more than 1 2-drop.
Exactly what I thought, you'll have to giveup on Crackling Razormaw and Scavenging Hyena though
And this guy should be "After mulligan . If you don't have any 2 cost card in your deck. All minion in your deck gain 1/1"
And maybe it will see play.
you do realize that means the effect would only work when you manage to get him in your starting hand
why Blizz why
Dunno mates, I'm not an aggro player, but I'm a bit skeptical about this card. I see the potential, but isn't the price big? The only 2 drop is this legendary. Normally aggro decks try to dump their hand as fast as possible. If you get the card in the starting hand, then gg. But in any other case you have to Hero Power and skip your turn (maybe this doesn't sound so bad, but in the aggro MUs you will get behind).
and the card says:
so no already played minions, no minions in the hand - this card is very, very risky !
Can't see people playing this regularly, for the same reasons they didn't play The Mistcaller. Interesting deckbuilding challenge though.
The Mistcaller's biggest problem was his cost - buffing everything at turn 6 was not efficient enough. It'll be hard to draw Prince Keleseth by turn 2 though, so I don't know... For me it's better than The Mistcaller, but is it good enough? We'll see in a month or so.
People are underestimating this. For paladin and warlock making a deck without 2 mana cards is easy. Others can find a way too. If you play this on curve great value. The Mistcaller was bad because its cost. I dont care your downvotes, this card will have a place in meta. And dont forget the synergy with upcoming lifesteal minions.
If anywhere, this would find a home in Aggro Pally. Not sure if that's a good thing.
only could see play if hunter quest become playable. but I very doubt it.
In Wild, there's The Mistcaller with Shaman, coupled with the various ways to get him back to hand.
Mind you, two legendary cards, especially those two, aren't really worth building around.
Consider with the QUEST HUNTER , this card is OP !
