Art looks like a 1 mana 1/1 minion. That text doesnt fit with a class legendary.
Currently, it is the most disappointed card of Un'Goro expansion.
With it being bigger than the jungle trees behind it, I disagree ^^
Not sure that Druid needs another big body, especially one for so much mana. Beast tag and difficulty (except by battlecries) to remove it makes me dream of copying it with Menagerie Warden, but even in that case its very late game. I wonder if druid's quest manipulates the mana cost of cards, it seems like the only reasonable motivation to print a card so simple.
Imo it should be just like creatures with Hexproof (or at least Shroud) in MTG, that can't be targeted by spells or ABILITIES (Big Game Hunter Battlecry for example). This way the card is almost unplayable.
Good thing 99% of the player base dusted BGH at the nerfs
Too slow. Play a 10 drop that doesn't do anything immediately kind of sucks. Sure its hard to remove but if it had something like (can't be targeted by spells or hero powers) and adapt would make it better. (might lower stats though)
The Curator into Alexstrasza and Tyrantus Not sure what turn 8 should be but this looks tough to deal with. Ramp up to the Curator and the pressure on the board is crazy.
As a Druid player this card is really disappointing. Every other class legendary has at least some relatively interesting mechanic associated with it but this is about as uninspired of a card in design, artwork, and flavor. Sad day for Druid players.
this looks like megalosaurus combined with deinonychus
"Or a mammoth perhaps?"
Giant Mastadon, take it or leave it.
This goes right into my Beast Druid deck in Wild.
Curious, I don't play wild my self. But how does Beast Druid fair in wild format, still "almost-works" kind of a deal?
On a side note. This Legendary, it feels like they removed something from it the last minute. Perhaps it had Adapt, Taunt or something. Even the art seems out of focus :P
This jade golem has autism...
This card might see play in Ramp Druid. That would be if Ramp Druid was still a thing. This card gets outclassed by a ton of smaller cards, and even the ability does not protect it. It is good against cards like Polymorph and Assassinate but as long the ability reads "Can't be target by spells, hero powers or abilities", this type of card will never see play. Cards like Vilespine Slayer and Big Game Hunter (despite the later not being in meta anymore) make this type of card impossible to ever see play. To loosely quote something someone above said, "why play a 10 mana 12/12 untargetable by spells and hero powers when you can play a 1 mana 12/12, followed by a 1 mana 13/13, then a 1 mana 14/14 etc." For the fact that this card, a 10 mana drop, gets beaten by a 1 mana card that also effects every other jade played before hand, this card is terrible compared to that. As long as jades, or rather, Jade Idol remain the same, Tyrantus won't see play in decks other than the Barnes Y'Shaarj, Rage Unbound deck.
Not the kind of Druid legendary I was expecting. I'm a little bummed that they didn't release anything to give Kun, the Forgotten King more synergy power now that Aviana is going out. With this card, it has the potential to be a threat later on in the game with its high stats and good effect for the cost, but just doesn't have the kind of demanding effect that other legendaries would have in a Druid deck. It could still definitely see play in Arena though.
it's a really boring card for a legendary, not only in effect, but also regarding the artwork (still better than the warrior legendary). but this would bother me a lot more, if it weren't for the two class legendaries in this set. i still have hopes for the druid quest reward. this card is not even that bad, but just boring. just a giant dinosaur.

Almost at the top of the food chain, but outclassed by Vilespine Slayers
To think that all Azeroth needed to kill Deathwing was to invite Tyrantus to the party
