here you go: Druid of the Claw and Druid of the Flame
Thanks!
So OP
This should be insanely obvious but this card is so cool in miracle druid. really ties the deck together and helps miracle make up for having an otherwise weak and challenging early game. Miracle druid is so challenged early because you have lots of cheap cards but you know you will wreck yourself if you play too many of them. but having deal 4 DMG plus card draw (wrath) and summon two tokens plus deal two dmg (living roots) really helps hold things down while you wait for turn six and otherwise try to spend most of your mana trying to ramp.
So, I just played a druid who used this against me in conjunction with wrath and got the 4 damage plus card draw and then continued to use it with two more cards. he used it with jade golem which spawned him a 9/9 jade golem and then placed 3 in his deck and then also got him 4 attack plus 8 armor. Is Fandral able to use this ability with as many "choose one" cards as one has in their hand?
Yes.
its kinda obvious
will Grand Tournament and League of Explorers rotate out on the same day in 2017? Will hurt to lose Raven Idol "soon", if that happens early 2017 ? I still have not crafted Fandral yet.
Yes, everything from 2015 will leave with the first expansion in 2017 (probably late March). Which sucks because expansions like League and Mean Streets have the shortest lifespan, in a sense. Luckily we have the Assman himself for a whole 'nother year after this!
Don't worry. Fandral will be fine. There's so many other cards you can use the effect with.
Wrath: Fandral turns this sucker into a "Deal 4 damage to a minion. Draw a card." for just two mana. That is insane value.
Druid of the Claw: Who doesn't love a 5 mana 4/6 Taunt with Charge?
Nourish: A more rare case, but Fandral Nourish can get you cards, can a little extra mana to play them as well.
Feral Rage: This is some really good removal. Fandral Feral Rage gets you armor, and attack, so you can take out a big target without fear.
And lastly, Jade Idol: The biggest thing for Druids right now. Only one mana so you can easily combo it with a Fandral, and the amount of value you get from just playing this is absurd.
Sounds should be updated as with the Tyrande Patch, he has a different summon sound if the opposing hero is Tyrande.
Finally got Swipe after reaching level 8 with druid. Got tired of shaman and mage and after few games deck (Malygos druid) was doing fine and I was surprised how fun it is. Decided to DE some cards and and crafted Fandral.
This card is <firebat>disgusting</firebat>. The most disgusting card in the game. Coin + innervate turn 1 and if you have something choose one to follow up is devastating.
Best way to remove Fandral from the battlefield is to use Firelands Portal. Very ironic and it exactly deals 5 damage, resulting in immediate removal only if it hasn't been buffed by a "Choose Both" card.
To anyone who doesn't get it, he lives in the firelands.
Thanks for explaining the irony - I was totally lost without this explanation.
Also note his play sound.
He has special dialogue with Tyrande, the new priest hero. "You will lead the people to ruin!"
Yeah i just heared it. :-) He says "Tyrandaaaa" at the end.
turn 1- The Coin + Innervate + [card]Fandral Staghelm[/card]
turn 2 - enemy pull out [card]Totem Golem[/card]
I respond with Wrath (4 damage+ draw a card)
turn 3- enemy concede
His play sound is soo powerful despite being soo simple!
