Freeze Mages will use this with Frost Nova
After 2 years we have 2nd worgen card. Hype!
Is actually the third we have already Worgen Infiltrator and Raging Worgen, but of course we need more worgens!! ^^
All aboard the Hype Train
As far as the anticipated game state in Standard goes now, this is bad. The major advantage of Healbot is that in spite of rather poor stats and the loss of tempo, it has an effect you can rely on no matter what. I need to be sure I will get my healing no matter what the conditions of the game are. This one is situational, which is something you don't want regarding a function as necessary as that. It's same in principle but only marginally better than Tuskarr Jouster (who is Paladin-only but wasn't used in the place of Healbot). Strong only when you're facing board spam, weak in so many other cases as already noted here & elsewhere.
Oh, and it's surprising to see so many people confusing "aggro" with the heavy board presence of Zoo. For example, Face Hunter and Face Shaman are still aggro but have minimal board presence that makes this card very mediocre.
I can't say I disagree, although beyond a certain point it's just semantics and the distinctions are a bit blurred. For example in Zoo you have to keep a delicate balance between controlling and face-ing while keeping a constant minion-based pressure, judging by the cards you have chosen to include, the anticipation for the opponent's next moves, and the planning for lethal. Plus, there are other decks where elements are borrowed from other deck styles. But it's true there are very popular misconceptions about "aggro", "midrange" etc. that are seen everyday here & elsewhere.
Absolute crap. Simply because most aggro-decks doesn't have so much minions on the field. Against Facehunter you mostly heal for 2-4, that's simply bad. If the enemy has more than 4 enemies, you want a board-clear, not a heal.
I disagree, while the meta is slowing down, this card shines most against a more midrange zoo deck, not an aggro deck. Especially in the new control/heal paladin Blizzard is pushing, this will be a great addition.
This is a great answer to Stand Against Darkness, which is clearly OP.
Way to think ahead Blizzard!
its not sarcastic , also its a good card don't you find alot of paladin happy about card summon 3 silverhand and 1 weapon 1/4 this card will help them also they can put 2 epic guys that make silverhand 3/3 yes its good card and op for them
the guy didn't get it was intended to be sarcrastic and got upvoted FailFish
nice, gives you a great heal when you need a boardclear, 5/5 Dust!
i need get my chiken ... wait ... corrupted chiken . corruptet angry chiken... maybe i should think obout that.
by the way - this card is goin to be fun... unleash the hounds and stuff like that might be scarry with this card ( 4 ur opponent)
So this is our healbot replacement. I like how it scales.
Against Aggro, this seems to be a better healbot, afterall it will commonly heal you for 10, and it has better stat to boot.
Against midrange decks it will unfortunately probably end up healing you for 4-6.... but it does trade with a lot of current Midrange minions. (Shredder, Savage combatant). So if the face of midrange doesnt change too much..... should be value.
Against most other decks though, probably a dead card most of the time.
Leeeeerooooy valueeeeeeeeeee :)
From arena point of view this card is mediocre. Healbot is mediocre in arena and most of the times this card will be worse than healbot.
In constructed now. This card won't see play in wild format. That's for sure. Healbot and belcher are much better turn 5 defensive cards. But in standard ... well we don't know yet. Naxx and GVG had some really powerful cards but... they are gone now. People compare this card with belcher and healbot and they say it won't see play in standard format. This is completely wrong. Aggro decks are also losing many good cards. Cult Apothecary might be the best turn 5 play for defensive decks in standard.
Unless a card is really really bad (tentacles for arms i am looking at you!) or really really good, you can't say if it will see play in standard or not. It is not just another expansion (and don't forget how many times we were wrong in the past about the new cards. People thought healbot will be bad for example). This time we will have 1 expansion and 1 adventure removed from the game plus many cards getting nerfed. It's too early to say anything
