Make no mistake, this is insanely powerful. Shaman already looks like it's going to become a very aggressively powerful class and spell damage is already a thing for Rogues and Priests.
they keep introducing these cards that are just pile of stats with no real ability or synergy .. we all know that these cards DO NOT WORK
Maybe if It wasn't battlecry , just hero text. that was more viable
I am stupefied at the lengths people go to hate on the new expansion, I see comments like "even if it is 6/4 it is not that good because it can easily be removed." What? A 3-mana 6/4 is not good? Because it can be removed by 4-mana drops? This is insane. It is a really cool card, it can make Spell damage cards or even spell damage decks more viable. It probably won't fit established decks, but that is good.
This cards looks really good in a shaman deck, don't judge the card too fast for other class there might be new cards to make this one viable in more than 1 class.
I mean she's alright, but a 4 health minion generally isn't TOO troublesome to clear in turns 3-4. But then again, you're still playing a 6/4 for 3 mana which is pretty damn good.
Problem I see is actually getting your spell damage minion to survive. Kobold and Bloodmage usually die the turn after you play them. Maybe dropping two of these on turn 6 after playing Azure Drake? Velen's Chosen works too, since the minion usually lives and gets healed constantly.
If you're ABSOLUTELY desperate to get the buff on this card, Mini-Mage? But if that's the case, you may be taking this card a little bit too seriously....
why such hate?
nice for shaman. you usually run azure drakes and sometimes bloodmage + you have the spellpower totem. 3 mana 6-4 is INSANE
even at 3-4-2 it is not the worst card in the game, if the opponent has no lowdrops, can possibly trade in sth bigger (not good tho, but not the worst)
I feel like it should be a 2/4 instead.
All i've seen from TGT so far is minions with ways to buff itself. this isnt what the meta is right now and im sure it wont change for these cards. there are currently no viable cards in the game which dont do anything the turned they are played. (some exceptions). and a minion with just big stats for a decent cost is just a bit boring.
This can be viable in any decks who use Azure Drakes, Bloodmage Thalnos, Kobold Genomancer, and the card specific cards Soot Spewer and Velen's Chosen. Aggro Mages, Mech-Mages, Miracle Rouges, Shamans with Justicar Trueheart (Can choose Spell Damage totem).. that's basicly it, maybe some druids with swipes, wraths and starfalls.
Also synergies with the other spelldamage cards, who are barely used (Archmage, Dalaran Mage, Ogre Magi, Mini-Mage). Malygos isn't that much relevant because it's a 9 cost minion, and after being cast you generally want to overwhelm your opponent with spells and not summon a 3 mana cost minion.
Another trash card made in a lab for a specific meta that does not exist in this realm. TGT so far nothing but trash except for the Wolfrider replacement and the 3/4 Fire Elemental. $50 prepurchase for this? FailFish, Oh yeah going to play thalnos or kobold then this turn 3... KappaPride
