How to Get
The normal version of Majordomo Executus is obtained by completing the second wing of Blackrock Mountain, Molten Core. Once obtained, you can craft the golden version for 3200 arcane dust.
Card Clarifications
- Using Alexstrasza on yourself will bump your Hero's Health up to 15. (Zeriyah)
- Healing yourself when you're at 8 (15 with Alex) health will not increase your health any further. (Zeriyah)
- You will not keep your armor upon changing into Ragnaros. (Zeriyah)
- Ragnaros is not considered a Legendary Minion, thus Rend Blackhand will not kill him with his Battlecry. (Zeriyah)
- If a player summons Nefarian, they will receive class cards of the class their opponent came into the game with. (Zeriyah)
- Ragnaros together with Prophet Velen will deal 16 damage.
- If you deal lethal damage to Majordomo Executus and the enemy hero at the same time, the enemy hero loses and Ragnaros is not summoned. (Zeriyah)
- This could be accomplished through Blade Flurry
- If you become Lord Jaraxxus, and then Ragnaros, you will keep your weapon. (Zeriyah)
- Playing the golden version of Majordomo Executus will result in a golden Ragnaros hero.
ruqires Feign Death, Alexstrasza, Mal'Ganis and Ice Block like cards in the deck. I wonder how it works with Baron Rivendare
The hero-spamming is real
Haha, guess we have a myth to bust.
I actually got to play against this today. A warrior pretty much auto lost after his major domo got BGH. The card is as dangerous as it looks.
I tried this with my handlock (I took out Dr.Boom to do this cause reasons I don't understand.) Its actually not that bad because unless your opponent uses spell that destroys executus without damaging it, it still takes 15 damage to kill you since they would need to damage executus and rag. I noticed some things that handlock could do that abuses executus. 1) hit to face and then shadowflame to follow up with rag hero power (thats 17 damage id executus hits face.) 2) opponent decides to poly/hex/silence/whatever to stop it from summoning rag (I ran into this and its funny when you taunt up next turn after they do that. If it gets stolen and you don't have much else on the board, it may suck to be you.) 3) They will force out rag and then the opponent most likely overextends, walking right into a shadowflame board wipe or heavy taunts or whatever to punish the overextend (note that handlock has a lot of healing but when they overextend, playing alexstrasza on yourself suddenly seems useless because they would still win next turn so yea.) 4) They force out rag and they try to spell damage you to prep for lethal next turn (healing and alexstrasxa isnt bad here unless they have a decent board, but I would still prefer switching to jaraxxus at this point anyway because then the damage they did with whatever spell they casted on you suddenly becomes wasted.) I discovered 4 times (probably the only 4 but more could be discovered) that executus becomes a good play. 1) you have the board controlled. 2) your health is at 12 or something like that. 3) trying to draw out a silence or damage to then go into jaraxxus (or alex but I don't see it played in handlock anymore) to make their damage/silence wasted. 4) trying to make you opponent overextend and go to face to hit them hard with a shadowflame (could follow with hero power but if it isnt lethal or your opponent has a decent sized hand then it probably would be better to get a taunt out there.) Careful for Pyroblast. Executus is actually pretty hard to play because of how it could be a suicide play, but generally it can be amazing if it is played right. If you are good enough, you could bait an pponent to steal executus to force out rag and wreck him (mirror entity could destroy you if your opponent has RNG so careful of that.)

Pretty sure hero power is 0, considering the setback of low hp. I wonder if you could cheese it in a shaman deck.
perfect play? : Majordomo on field from previous turn.
Ancestral Spirit -> Charge and kill big minion, summon rag. New Majordomo on field.
Use hero power.
Reincarnate Majordomo, new Rag. Use hero power (it was already confirmed you can use hero power before summoning rag, and it resets allowing you to use Rag power too)
Use hero power.
Reincarnate again -> Hero Power
Congrats, you just did 24 dmg on board/face with a 9 dmg minion removal.
But.. Hero Power is 2 mana..
Sounds like a really deadly 12 mana combo you have there. But you'd need Emperor Thaurissan just to discount the spells because you can't discount DIE, INSECT!
You say that, but I seriously think it might actually see play.
In Priest decks.
Watch this space...
How would this work in a priest deck?
Probably the most interesting, fun and worst card in all of Blackrock. This will be a thrill to use in friendly control matches, though.
"You will not keep your armor upon changing into Ragnaros. (Zeriyah)" Why not...
edit: This will be an interesting card to cast Reincarnate on after dealing 9 damage.
I dont understand, does your hero power become "deal 8 damage" or what?
The funny part is that you technically have 15 health, just part of it is in minion form (and all the negative attributes that will carry).
Fun card regardless. I'll try it out.
The hero power should deal 30 damage since you're sacrificing so much to get this to work, and pretty much die to any 2 decent cards. Probably the coolest, but also the worst card ever made for this game. What a shame!
I don't know how ragnaros is as a hero, but 8 health, com on... my grandmother can kill that with her walking stick!
Ragnaros only has 8 health. Plus any higher health could be a little broken for a card that can be in every class.
Well, there's a big difference between Ragnaros, the minion, and Ragnaros the HERO. I really feel like they could've bumped up the health, cause 8 health is an absurdly low amount for a hero. It puts you so close to death that you either have to kill your opponent in a turn or two, or just die.
die?
DIE, INSECT!
True but think about the classes that could REALLY abuse that kind of health.
