New Mechanics
- New Keyword: Colossal - Minions with extra appendages that synergize with their main body in powerful ways. These appendages are summoned with the main body, even if the Colossal minion wasn’t played from hand.
- New Tribe: Naga - The Naga are a spell-focused minion type that tend to give bonuses for playing spells while the Naga are in your hand.
- New Keyword: Dredge - Lets you look at the bottom three cards of your deck and pick one to put at the top of your deck, much like Discover does. It does not draw the card unless specified.
Other Mechanics
Some mechanics that were seen in previous card sets were brought back on new cards, as well as some truly new mechanics were added:
- Giant that costs less when you have spent Mana on spells.
- Refresh Mana Crystals based on the most expensive spell in your hand.
- Pick a minion. When it dies deal AoE damage.
- A "Repeatable this turn" spell for Paladin.
- Draw 2 minions and swap their stats.
- Put an enemy minion on the bottom of your opponent's deck.
- There are several Shaman cards that deal with multiple spell schools for their effects.
- Warlock has multiple cards that shuffle Curses into their opponent's hand that deal damage on the opponent's turn, but can be played by them to reduce further damage.
- Replace your deck with minions that cost (5) or more. They cost (5).
- You can view all the new cards in our Voyage to the Sunken City Cards List.

Theorycrafted Decks
We created a special Decks post yesterday, with a lot of new archetypes and a lot of new deck ideas. You can find the links to that Decks post below.
Alternatively, create your own deck with the Deckbuilder, add a good guide on how to pilot the deck and help create the post-launch meta!
That should get you started! Thanks for being with us throughout this exciting Voyage to the Sunken City reveal period. Shoutout to everyone who helped in one way or another during this time, the other moderators and staff and the devs and all the users who gave us useful suggestions and feedback, and to everyone who enjoyed and supported our coverage. You rock!

4 legendaries in 30 packs! :O :D
-Gaia, the Techtonic
-Nellie, the Great Thresher
-Sir Finley
-Queen Azshara
Today was a good day: 5 legendaries from 105 packs including golden Glugg the Gulper.
Right now i have no idea what am I doing & playng & deckbulding, but it's funny, that when I'll use Sir Finley, Sea Guide I'm getting disconnected from the game xD
If you're F2P. don't open ANY Standard/current exp packs until you get to the last Rare card on the track. That way you trigger duplicate rules as much as possible and have a better chance to get the rares you want without spending extra gold.
Only 2 legendaries from 60 packs.. one of them Lady Ashvane (the worst possible) what a joke
Aren't Year of the Phoenix rotating cards supposed to be eligible for full dust refund? I remember previous year I was receiving full dust while disenchanting newly wild cards. Or am I inventing???
You are thinking of cards that were sent to the Hall of Fame, back in the day before we had the Core set. That mechanic no longer exists in that form. We just have the Core set now, for free, for everyone and cards rotate into and out of that.
The only way to gain dust now is to dust cards you no longer use. For me personally, I kept every duplicate card from Year of the Phoenix till today. With everything being moved to Wild the chances of cards still being nerfed from that year are VERY small, so there's no longer a need to hoard them in case of nerfs.
So I dusted all my extras from those sets for an influx in dust, and will continue saving up every other duplicate I get until inevitable nerfs happen, at which point I'll dust extras for those affected cards. And then in just about 365 days the Year of the Gryphon cards will rotate and I'll dust those extras, and so on and so forth.
10 legendaries in 146 packs!! good number i think!!
Why is it possible to dust Sir Finley for full refund? What is the reason behind?
because the diamond copy of him is being given on the paid reward track
Worst start ever for me. Opened 1 legendary in 50 packs, a few epics, all from classes I don't play. I'm trying out decks against refined Quest Hunter and Quest Warrior.
Why did Blizzard convert all my Classic decks to Wild??
Yea same happened here, no way to convert it back just have to remake it unfortunately.
profile pic fits the question :D
Came back to home, logging in, queue, so I'm waiting, logged in, buying tavern pass &... No packs in the store xD
This Smoll Indie Company will always find a way to surprise me xD
did anyone manage to open anything else then rares and commons? i opened 6 packs, and all 40 dust... bugg or just extremely unlucky?
How did you opened packs?Packs are missing from the shop
packs that i got from open arena etc
so first time in years i open the game on launch our as normally im not at home, but this time i was excited to open my packs with gold. no sunken city packs in the store, great
Packs are missing from the shop. How is this possible at a company big as blizzard?
Bruh, as far as I know Blizzard is a small indie comapny
