Voyage to the Sunken City Card List & Expansion Guide

The thing is Mr. Smite , Edwin, Defias Kingpin and whatever other powerful pirate they may print might be enough to justify this card already, you dont necessarily need an pirate archetype but there's a good chance this will happen and honestly i hope we get some options because i dont wanna play pre-made straight up boring as hell Quest Rogue for the rest of the year.
Love the art on these cards. Been a while since I like the art as much as these cards.
Really looking forward to this exp.
Hang on guys, I will be back later. Mecha Shark and I need to shit on Pirate Warriors with cheap Mech Mage bullshittery.
Is Pirate Rogue back on track? We haven't seen the colossal and Hooktusk yet, im hopeful about that! My favorite archetype of all time.
Baba Naga - Seems really good for any deck that consistently plays a spell on the first 3 turns. The effect an be used both offensively and defensively, and the stats are solid.
Blackscale Brute - Decent card, might have gone into Control Warrior if Kazakusan didn't exist.
Crushclaw Enforcer - Maybe if there is a need to draw a specific powerful Naga.
Cutlass Courier - Probably bad. A Pirate that just draws another Pirate might be good enough in Warrior due to the quest, but probably not in Rogue.
Excavation Specialist - Seems bad.
Flipper Friends - No mode is particularly powerful, but it makes a lot of tokens and Druid can often use that.
Gift of Azshara - If Nagas are strong enough, sure. Probably not worth going hard on Nagas for just this card though.
Immortalized in Stone - Not very impressive.
Mecha Shark - Very good. Things can get nasty really quickly if this isn't immediately removed, and it can be used lategame to turn all of your early-game mechs into burn.
Multi-Strike - I don't play this class at all, but this seems insane.
Piranha Poacher - Seems bad.
Scalding Geyser - Could be good for combo decks.
Seafloor Savior - Handbuff synergy, but you'd have to be running a deck with only small minions or you might accidentally shrink something.
Switcheroo - Interesting. Hard to say right now if some crazy swaps will be possible, but either way it's solid just for card draw.
Twinbow Terrorcoil - Doubling spells can be good, depending on if there are suitable spells. Probably won't make the cut for aggro Hunter since it's a bit too slow.
Scalding Geyser will be the new auto-include for Burn Shaman decks....
The Naga package is starting to seem legit.
Baga Naga - Really good for a neutral tribal card. Like REALLY good. The condition is not difficult, and it's got better stats than Flanking Strike.
Blackscale Brute - So many stats. Not sure what this being a Naga matters.
Crushclaw Enforcer - Another good card. I was kind of hoping they'd be cutting down on card draw, but this isn't too bad.
Cutlass Courier - Pirate Rogue could be a thing? 5 health on a 3 drop is reasonably sticky, and this curves from hero power really well. Not sure what Pirate rogue looks like, so this is hard to judge.
Excavation Specialist - Good stats for a 4 drop, the mana discount makes the dredge effect worth it. Not sure this is... THAT cool, but it's interesting and has potential.
Flipper Friends - Good card. Can benefit from cost reduction, 6/6 for 5 is already quite good. 5 mana deal 6 is also good. Really helps all the Choose One synergy druid has been getting.
Gifts of Azshara - Again, was hoping that they'd cut down on cheap card draw, but the requirement here is a little bit stricter than some other cards, and it's limited to being a 2 mana draw 2, which isn't TOO insane.
Immortalized in Stone - A 1 drop, a 3 drop and a... 6 drop? So like 9-mana-ish worth of stats? It's an expensive Holy spell, tho. Which means it has synergy with the new buff. It's fine I guess. Maybe a big spell Paladin is workable here.
Mecha Shark - Optimal stats with a beneficial effect. Imposible to evaluate without know what's in the mech pool, though. Honestly seems kinda weak, tho?
Multi-Strike - Windfury to Minions with an extra 2 damage attached? Does this work if you hit face? It's pretty good I think. Especially with Aldrachi Warblades or something. Seems good.
Piranha Poacher - Does the Swarmer... do anything? I assume this is actually another card in the set. It's a very well stated murloc, so it has synergy with amalgam to a degree.
Scalding Geyser - Cheap fire spell so it synergizes well with multicaster, benefits from spell damage well, dredge is a nice little bit of candy on top.
Seafloor Savior - Um... I guess this is a handbuff synergy card? Seems fine I guess. Kind of complex.
Switcheroo - Arcane Intellect for Priest, I guess they really are just gonna give Priest card draw. The rest of the effect is... fine. Not really reliable, but potentially good I guess.
Twinbow Terrorcoil - It's good. Obviously has some use in Quest Hunter or some other sort of spell-heavy hunter deck. I wonder if the double effect counts twice for Hunter's quest. I assume it does.
All these cards seem really good.
Damn, Scalding Geyser lookin kinda nasty
It's 16 actually - the card created by Piranha Poacher is a collectable card named Piranha Swarmer. A Neutral 1 mana 1/1 Rush which gains +1 attack after you summon another Piranha Swarmer.
Yep, were too busy getting the cards into our database, but fixed title now.
And then they accidentally leaked the 17th card of the night in the Priest legendary Blackwater Behemoth!
(we suspect they got Blackscale and Blackwater mixed up, because there's no official art yet for Blackscale Brute)
Wow that Paladin 7 mana spell is crazy! 7/14 in stats across 3 minions as Elementals with Taunt is insane!
Really really REALLY good spell.
Anduin found Nemo
7 mana slot for warrior is overloaded with powerful options.
Remember druids that can spam full token boards until you run out of clears. Missed them? Well they missed you for sure.
